A method of operating a network node in a wireless communication system includes configuring a downlink control information (DCI) message that schedules uplink or downlink communications with a user equipment (UE) in a plurality of serving cells. The DCI message does not include an explicit new data indicator (NDI) field for at least one of the serving cells scheduled by the DCI message. The network node transmits the DCI message to the UE. A method performed by a UE includes receiving a DCI message that schedules uplink or downlink communications in a plurality of serving cells. The DCI message does not include an explicit NDI field for a serving cell scheduled by the DCI message. In response, the UE determines an NDI value associated with scheduled communications for the serving cell or determines that the scheduled communications for the serving cell contains a new data transmission.

A method performed by a network node for handling channel feature estimates associated with a radio channel between a User Equipment, UE, and the network node in a wireless communications network is provided. The network node obtains a channel feature estimates associated to the radio channel estimated at a first point in time. Data representing the channel feature estimates has a first size. The network node compresses the channel feature estimates at the first point in time by replacing them with updated channel feature estimates that at the subsequent point in time fulfils a respective threshold condition. The data representing the updated channel feature estimates has a second size. The second size is smaller than the first size. The network node then adjusts parameters for a transmission at the radio channel based on the updated channel feature estimates.

The present invention relates to the field of communication technology with regard to cell scheduling. A method of operating a network node comprises transmitting a single Downlink Control Information (DCI) to a radio node, the single DCI scheduling Physical Downlink Shared Channels (PDSCHs) on a plurality of cells. The single DCI indicates a counter downlink assignment indicator (DAI) which is either based on the plurality of scheduled cells or independent of the plurality of cells scheduled by the single DCI.

Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for remote interference detection. The method which may be performed by a first network node comprises determining a first subcarrier in a first resource of the first network node to transmit a reference signal for remote interference detection. The first subcarrier may be aligned with a second subcarrier in a second resource of a second network node. In accordance with an exemplary embodiment, the method further comprises transmitting the reference signal on the first subcarrier, according to a first reference signal sequence mapped to the first resource.
