The present disclosure relates to a density meter for slurry which is transported through a pipe, the density meter may include a frame; a pipe part; flexible pipe couplings arranged between the frame and either end of the pipe part for coupling the pipe part to the frame and to a feed pipe and a discharge pipe; a first accelerometer arranged on the pipe part for measuring the accelerations of the pipe part; an actuator arranged between the pipe part and the frame for imparting force on the pipe; a controller for controlling the actuator; and a computing means having a mathematical model to ultimately calculate the density of the slurry in the pipe part.

Devices, systems, and methods for percussion therapy of a patient's torso area provide percussive force to release and/or dislodge mucous from respiratory airways of a human patient. Such devices, systems, and methods may include a torso covering for securing to a patient's torso, percussive devices coupled to the torso covering, and an attachment assembly for supporting the torso covering. The percussive devices may include a percussion frame, an electromechanically actuated percussor for controlled movement between end positions, and resilient members attached to opposite ends of the percussion frame for assisting controlled movement of the percussor. The devices, systems, and methods disclosed herein provide efficient and comfortable high-frequency percussive force to a patient's torso, reducing stress on the patient and improving patient experience.

Percussion therapy apparatus and methods thereof

A method for positioning a substage (), supported by a main stage (), relative to a reference object, the substage moveable in a direction () between a first and second position relative to the main stage. The method includes positioning the first stage using a passive force system that is activated by positioning the main stage. The passive force system includes two magnet systems (), each magnet system being configured to apply a force in the direction to the first stage with respect to the second stage in a non-contact manner, the forces resulting in a resultant force applied to the first stage in the direction by the passive force system. A magnitude and/or a direction of the resultant force depends on the position of the first stage relative to the second stage, and the first stage has a zero-force position between the first and second position in which the resultant force is zero.

Positioning system and a method for positioning a substage or a stage with respect to a frame

Mirror elements () include a substrate () and a multilayer arrangement (). The multilayer arrangement includes a reflective layer system () having a radiation entrance surface () and a piezoelectric layer () arranged between the radiation entrance surface and the substrate. Each mirror element includes an electrode arrangement () associated with the piezoelectric layer. A layer thickness (tp) of the piezoelectric layer is controlled by the electric field generated. An interconnection arrangement () electrically interconnects adjacent electrodes of adjacent electrode arrangements. According to one formulation, the interconnection arrangement generates an electric field in a gap region () between the adjacent electrodes. According to another, an electric resistance (Ri) of the interconnection arrangement in the gap region is greater than an electric resistance (Rw) of the adjacent electrodes and less than an electric resistance (Rl) of the piezoelectric layers of adjacent electrode arrangements.

The sensor system includes a radiation source arranged to emit a radiation bundle, a reflective element, a detector device and a substrate table having a supporting surface for supporting the substrate. The supporting surface is at least partly along a plane. The radiation source and the detector device are arranged on a first side of the plane. The reflective element is arranged on a second side of the plane other than the first side. The reflective element is arranged to create a reflected bundle by reflecting the radiation bundle. The reflective element is arranged to illuminate the edge with the reflected bundle. The detector device is arranged to receive the reflected bundle.
