The present invention relates to body position detection. In order to improve body position detection, a computer-implemented method is provided that comprises the steps of: wherein the received accelerometer data comprises three acceleration components including a first acceleration component in a first axis direction, a second acceleration component in a second axis direction substantially perpendicular to the first axis direction, and a third acceleration component in a third axis direction substantially perpendicular to a plane formed by the first and second axes; and wherein the first axis direction is parallel to a frontal axis of the user, the second axis direction is parallel to a longitudinal axis of the user, and the third axis direction is parallel to a sagittal axis of the user;

Body position detection

A radiation grill unit () comprises (i) a food support unit (), (ii) a radiation unit () that includes a reflector () (with reflector opening ()) hosting an IR radiation heater (), wherein the radiation unit () is configured to provide IR radiation () in a direction of the food support unit (), and (iii) a radiation grill unit cavity () configured to host a drip tray (). Radiation grill

A system for waking a user up by a stimulus, wherein the stimulus is adapted to vary according to an intensity curve. A user interface is adapted to receive user preferences, such as a desired wake-up time and a preference indicator. The preference indicator indicates whether the user prefers to be more alert after waking up or to have a longer sleep. An alarm is used for providing a stimulus to the user and a processor is used for determining a stimulus intensity curve for the alarm. Determining the stimulus intensity curve is based on at least the user preferences.

A power supplying device is provided for providing electrical power to a power receiving device, the power supplying device comprising two plates, two electrode structures being arranged to be coupled to an AC power source and at least one power transmitter. The present invention refers to a luminaire comprising a plurality of directed light sources arranged in a surface of a three-dimensional body and a controller for controlling the operational state of the luminaire. The controller comprises a three-dimensional touch-sensitive surface. Each point on the touch-sensitive surface is allocated to a position of the body surface such that an operational state of at least one light source at a position of the body surface is changeable by touching a point on the touch-sensitive surface allocated to this position. A corresponding method for controlling a luminaire comprises the steps of detecting a touch at a point on a three-dimensional touch-sensitive surface and changing an operational state of at least one light source at a position of the body surface allocated to the touch point on the touch-sensitive surface.

Variable light-level production using different dimming modes for different light-output ranges

A driving circuit () for driving a plurality of light sources () arranged in a series configuration () is described. A controllable current source () is connected to said series arrangement of light sources. Each light source (()) is bridged by a corresponding controllable switch (()). A light output device comprises a substrate arrangement comprising a plurality of light source circuits integrated into the structure of the substrate arrangement. Each light source circuit comprises a light source device arrangement () having two terminals and a transistor circuit (). Light output device

Disclosed is a driver that includes a main power supply that has outputs coupled across a string of light emitting diodes to supply a main current. A secondary power supply is coupled to a junction between successive light emitting diodes in the string to supply or withdraw a delta current from the junction. The delta current is at least five times smaller than the main current. A controller controls the secondary power supply to generate the delta current to obtain a desired spectral composition of the mixed light emitted by the string.
