An arrangement for producing sound in an electronic device comprises a magnetic vibrator comprising a first part and a second part provided with permanent magnets, and at least one induction coil. The arrangement further comprises a piezoelectric vibrator comprising piezoelectric material for generating audio-frequency vibrations resulting from deformations of the material by supplying to said material a second electrical signal. The magnetic vibrator and the piezoelectric vibrator have a common audio amplifier. Said first and second electrical signal are supplied from the same audio output to the magnetic vibrator and the piezoelectric vibrator.

Method and arrangement for producing sound in an electronic device

Acoustic transducer comprises an upper part () and a lower part (), with a first permanent magnet () in the upper part () and a second permanent magnet () in the lower part (). Similarly named magnetic poles of the first and second permanent magnets () face each other. An upper cover () in the upper part () and a lower cover () in the lower part () comprise magnetic material and define an enclosure around the magnets (). A coil () creates, under influence of an electric current, dynamic magnetic forces. A separating gap () between edges of said upper cover () and lower cover () is directed so that it allows a relative movement of the edges of said lower cover () and said upper cover () between different positions, said positions differing in the extent to which edges coincide.

Acoustic transducer with balanced properties

A portable inhalator device includes a housing with a mouthpiece for a user; a gas conduit coupled to the mouthpiece and configured to guide inhaling and exhaling gas flow within the device; a pressure sensor configured to monitor the gas flow in the gas conduit and to provide pressure differential signal for indicating direction of the gas flow through the gas conduit; a detection sensor configured to monitor the gas flow in the gas conduit and to provide characteristics signal for indicating composition of the gas flow through the gas conduit; and a dispenser configured to dispense a drug to the gas conduit.

Portable inhalator device

An arrangement for generating vibration according to an electrical input signal includes a first permanent magnet arrangement including a first permanent magnet, a frame including magnetic material, a second permanent magnet configured to be arranged between the first permanent magnet and the frame and to be coupled with the frame, one or more portion of the frame extending at least in one direction over an edge area of the second permanent magnet. The second permanent magnet is further configured to face, at a distance, the first permanent magnet such that a magnetic interaction between the first permanent magnet and the second permanent magnet causes a first force to a surface of an apparatus, wherein the frame is configured to be magnetized by the second permanent magnet in order to cause magnetic interaction between the one or more portion of the frame and the first permanent magnet arrangement in order to cause a second force to the surface having an opposite direction compared with the first force.

Transducer arrangement

An apparatus comprising: a first part configured to form at least part of the case of the apparatus; a second part configured to form at least part of the display for the apparatus; a flexible membrane configured to couple at a first area of contact the first part and at a second area of contact the second part; and an actuator coupled to the second part and configured to apply a force to the second part to generate a substantially translational displacement of the second part.

Apparatus and method for providing haptic and audio feedback in a touch sensitive user interface

An apparatus comprising: a first part configured to form at least part of the case of the apparatus; a second part configured to form at least part of the display for the apparatus; a coupling configured to couple the first part to the second part; and at least one actuator coupled to the second part and configured to apply a force to the second part to generate a displacement of the second part relative to the first part suitable for generating an audio signal.

An apparatus including a housing having a sound hole; a sound transducer in the housing; and a dust barrier in the housing between the sound hole and the sound transducer. The dust barrier has a deck located in a path between the sound hole and the sound transducer.
