A deformable sensor arrangement includes a deformable sensor attachable to a curved surface. The deformable sensor includes an elastic layer having a Young's modulus at least 0.01 MPa and a first yield strain at least 10%. A first stretchable electrode attaches to the elastic layer, and a stretchable electrically conductive wiring. The first stretchable electrode and the stretchable electrically conductive wiring stretch at least 5% without breaking. An electronic arrangement electrically couples to the first stretchable electrode via the stretchable electrically conductive wiring and obtains a first signal from the first stretchable electrode. An analyzer determines a calibrated value based on the obtained first signal and assembly compensation coefficients, which are based on material compensation coefficients, and a measured signal of the deformable sensor in its installing position. A system and method are for installing the arrangement. A method and computer program determine a value of interest.

Deformable sensor

The invention relates to sensor () for use as a pressure and/or a force sensor. The sensor () comprises a elastic and stretchable layer () with material having a first Young's modulus (Y) and a first yield strain (&#x3b5;); at least a first stretchable electrode () and a second stretchable electrode () attached to the elastic and stretchable layer () and arranged a first distance (d, d) apart from each other; a flexible foil () having a second Young's modulus (Y); and electrically conductive wiring () attached to the flexible foil (). At least a part of the electrically conductive wiring () is coupled to the stretchable electrodes () in an electrically conductive manner; the first yield strain (&#x3b5;) is at least 10 percent; the first Young's modulus (Y) is less than the second Young's modulus (Y).

Capacitance force and/or pressure sensor having stretchable electrodes

The invention relates to sensor for use as a pressure and/or a force sensor. The sensor comprises an elastic and stretchable layer with material having a first Young's modulus and a first yield strain, at least a first stretchable electrode and a second stretchable electrode attached to the elastic and stretchable layer and arranged a first distance apart from each other, a flexible foil having a second Young's modulus, and electrically conductive wiring attached to the flexible foil. At least a part of the electrically conductive wiring is coupled to the stretchable electrodes in an electrically conductive manner, the first yield strain is at least 10 per cent; the first Young's modulus is less than the second Young's modulus, and the thickness of the flexible foil is at most 0.5 mm.
