A fastening element is proposed for fixing an attachment element on an extension piece of a syringe or a carpule, said extension piece having, on an outer face, at least one projection, wherein the fastening element () has an annular main body () on which a ring element () is articulated such that the ring element engages around the extension piece in a mounted state. The ring element has an annular first wall portion (), which is articulated on the main body () via a first bearing area (), and has an annular second wall portion (), which is articulated on the first wall portion () via a second bearing area (), wherein the first and second wall portions () and () are preferably connected to each other resiliently and enclose between them a free space (), and wherein the first wall portion () is connected resiliently to the main body ().

Fastening element and syringe

An attachment for a syringe, carpule, or the like, includes a distal end and a terminal extension with an outer surface, a free end, and a depression introduced at a spacing into the outer surface. The attachment includes an annular base body and is placeable onto the extension. The base body encloses a free space into which the extension is introducible. The base body contains two materials a first material which is dimensionally stable and a second material which is softer than the first material and deformable. The base body has an engagement region, which engages into the depression. The extension is thus characterized in that the base body has, along an imaginary circumferential line, a first region with the first material and a second region containing the second material. The second material deforms into the depression in a placed-onto-the-extension state. The second material is embedded into the first material.

A syringe assembly has a syringe body adapted to be filled with an injectable liquid and having an annular neck defining an axis and having an axially outwardly open outlet. The neck is adapted to carry a needle. An elastomeric plug engaged axially inward with the neck closes the outlet and a holding ring is fixed to the neck below the plug. A retaining sleeve around the neck is fixed to the holding ring and a cup-shaped safety cap is fixed to the plug and has an end edge confronting the retaining sleeve and spaced axially therefrom. Frangible formations extend from the cap edge to the sleeve.
