A fabric belt for a machine for producing a web of fibrous material includes: a first fabric layer including a web contact side and formed by interweaving a plurality of warps with a plurality of wefts; and a second fabric layer positioned below said first fabric layer and formed by interweaving a plurality of warps with a plurality of wefts, a first ratio of a number of said plurality of warps of said first fabric layer to a number of said plurality of warps of said second fabric layer being greater than 1, a second ratio of a number of said plurality of wefts of said first fabric layer to a number of said plurality of wefts of said second fabric layer being greater than 1.

Fabric belt for a machine for the production of web material, particularly paper or cardboard

The present invention relates to a paper machine fabric, especially a forming fabric, including a top woven fabric layer and a bottom woven fabric layer which are connected with each other by paired binder yarns. The present invention is characterized in that at least one of the binder yarn pairs is formed by machine direction yarns (binding machine direction yarns) and at least one of the other binder yarn pairs is formed by cross machine direction yarns (binding cross machine direction yarns).

Forming fabric

The invention relates to a fabric belt for a machine for the production of web material, particularly paper or cardboard, including a first fabric layer providing a web material contact side and formed by way of the interweaving of warps with wefts, and a second fabric layer positioned below the first fabric layer and formed by way of the interweaving of warps with wefts, wherein the ratio of the number of warps of the first fabric layer to the number of warps of the second fabric layer is greater than 1.

A forming fabric for a machine for the production of web material, especially paper or cardboard, comprises a first fabric layer on the web material side and a second machine-side fabric layer, whereby the first fabric layer and the second fabric layer are interconnected with each other by binder threads and whereby the second fabric layer is woven in an irregular satin weave.

A woven belt for a machine for producing web material, in particular forming mesh, including at least two woven layers with warp threads extending in a belt longitudinal direction and weft threads extending in a belt transverse direction, wherein a first of the woven layers provides a web material contact side and a second of the woven layers provides a machine contact side and the woven layers are joined together by tie warp threads, wherein the first woven layer is woven with at least 26 different warp runs, the structure-forming warp threads woven into the first woven layer and the weft threads of the first woven layer having a maximum floating length of 3 in relation to each other, wherein, when the tie warp threads for providing structure-forming tie thread pairs are arranged in pairs relative to each other so that where a tie warp thread of a respective structure-forming tie warp thread pair is integrated into the first woven layer then the other tie warp thread of this structure-forming tie warp thread pair is integrated into another woven layer, then changeover points at which the tie warp threads of the structure-forming tie warp thread pairs cross each other for switching between the first woven layer and the other woven layer are distributed irregularly within a warp/weft repeat, or wherein, when the tie warp threads are integrated into the first woven layer with no structure-forming effect and tie onto tie-on points over weft threads of the first woven layer, then the tie-on points within a warp/weft repeat are distributed irregularly.

Woven belt for a machine for producing web material and method for manufacturing such a woven belt

This invention relates to a paper machine covering such as a mesh, in particular forming mesh, having an upper fabric layer which is repeated in upper repeats and whose outer side forms the paper side of the mesh, having a lower fabric layer whose outer side forms the machine side of the mesh, and having tie threads arranged in groups and extending in the longitudinal thread direction, which connect the upper fabric layer and the lower fabric layer to each other, wherein the upper fabric layer is formed at least by the tie threads and, woven therewith, upper transverse threads extending transverse to the tie threads, in that the tie threads of each group alternate in sections when weaving with the upper transverse threads in the longitudinal thread direction, thus jointly creating an upper longitudinal thread run which is repeated over the length of the upper repeat in the longitudinal thread direction, wherein the lower fabric layer is formed at least by the tie threads and, woven therewith, lower transverse threads extending transverse to the tie threads, wherein the tie threads of each group cross when switching from weaving with the upper transverse threads to weaving with the lower transverse threads and vice versa, thus forming intersections. The tie threads of at least one group are woven with the upper and lower transverse threads such that at least two consecutive intersections are arranged over the length of the upper repeat in the longitudinal thread direction.

Paper machine covering

This invention relates to a paper machine mesh, in particular a forming mesh, including an upper fabric layer, whose outer side forms a paper side, and a lower fabric layer, whose outer side forms a machine side of the paper machine mesh, and tie threads extending in the longitudinal thread direction, which connect the upper fabric layer and the lower fabric layer to each other, wherein the upper fabric layer is formed at least by the tie threads and, woven therewith, upper transverse threads extending transverse to the tie threads, wherein the lower fabric layer is formed at least by the tie threads and, woven therewith, lower transverse threads extending transverse to the tie threads, wherein each lower transverse thread is held respectively by several tie threads in that each of these tie threads continually crosses the respective lower transverse thread on the outer side of the lower fabric layer, and wherein at least some of the tie threads holding a respective lower transverse thread are separated from each other by at least one tie thread not holding the lower transverse thread in that the lower transverse thread continually crosses the non-holding tie thread on the outer side of the lower fabric layer. The mesh also includes several lower transverse threads for which an identical number of non-holding tie threads is always arranged respectively between consecutive tie threads respectively holding the lower transverse thread.

Paper machine mesh

The present invention relates to a paper machine mesh, in particular a forming mesh, with an upper fabric layer the outer side of which forms a paper side of the paper machine mesh, wherein the lower fabric layer is formed by longitudinal threads and, woven therewith, lower transverse threads extending transverse to the longitudinal threads, wherein an upper weaving pattern, which is repeated in upper repeats, is formed by the weaving of the longitudinal threads with the upper transverse threads, wherein the longitudinal threads form, through weaving with the upper transverse threads, several upper longitudinal thread runs arranged side by side in the transverse thread direction with longitudinal thread lifts and longitudinal thread lowerings, wherein the longitudinal thread runs each extend over the length of the upper repeat in the longitudinal thread direction, wherein a longitudinal thread lift is formed in that a longitudinal thread respectively weaving with upper transverse threads continually crosses an upper transverse thread on the outer side of the upper fabric layer, and wherein a longitudinal thread lowering is formed in that a longitudinal thread respectively weaving with upper transverse threads continually crosses an upper transverse thread between the upper and lower fabric layer. The longitudinal thread lifts and longitudinal thread lowerings of the upper weaving pattern are arranged irregularly distributed in the upper repeat.
