The gate valve has a housing hermetically joined with pipelines and a closing member which is translationally traversable in between the sealing elements of the housing. A bottom end of the closing member having a bevelled edge made so that at the instance when the pipelines get intercommunicated, the passageway is established in between the abovesaid bevelled edge, the housing and the sealing elements, said passageway growing narrow towards the direction of the flow of liquid. The above feature makes it possible to rule out the onset of conditions fraught with cavitation under the closing member and bring the cavitation outside the closing member, thereby adding to the service life of the gate valve.

Gate valve to shut off flow of liquid in pipelines

A pump wherein the parts of the casing forming, together with the partitions and sealing members, chambers for the accommodation of impellers mounted in a counteropposed manner on a shaft, are interconnected in the plane perpendicular to the rotation axis of the impellers by a clamp. The clamp consists of two parts with the joining plane passing through the rotation axis of the impellers and the clamp has circular collars at the edges, the collars entering circular recesses provided in flanges located on the opposite sides of the casing parts. The clamp is adapted for compressing the sealing members while the clamp parts are being brought together.

The coal mining combine has a crawler carriage with a driving mechanism supporting a bed plate with a turntable on which an arrow-like actuator with a motor for rotating it and a bit are hinged. The hollow body of the actuator contains a built-in monitor. Hydraulic cylinders which are used for moving the actuator and the monitor's barrel are provided. Manifolds are used for supplying water to the monitor and to the actuator. In accordance with the invention, a channel is made in the supporting bed plate. This channel is a hydraulic shock acceleration tubing whose sections are located one above another in at least two rows. A pneumohydraulic accumulator communicating with the water supply source is connected to the channel's inlet, while an oscillator, included in the network for supplying water to the monitor, is connected to the channel's outlet.
