The technology describes a stamp and stamp pad for a self-inking stamp, having a housing or a carrying device for a pad for absorbing ink. The carrying device is rectangular in shape, having a base plate with longitudinal surfaces and lateral surfaces moulded thereon. On two surfaces running in parallel handle elements for the lateral gripping of the carrying device are arranged. On the lateral surface a handle element for the lateral gripping and pulling of the carrying device out of a stamp are formed of a plurality of parts displaceable within one another. The handle elements are formed for insertion in a clearance of a lower part of the stamp and do not protrude out of the outer surface of the lower part, so that an upper part of the stamp is displaceable via the clearance with the handle elements inserted in the lower part.

The invention relates to a stamp comprising a telescoping upper and lower part as well as a printing plate holder pivotally disposed in the lower part to accommodate the stamp plate. A retaining device for a stamp pad is associated with the printing plate holder, and in a rest position the printing plate holder is positioned in the range 80&#xb0; to 135&#xb0;, preferably at approximately 90&#xb0; with respect to a contact area. From this rest position the stamp can be displaced into an operating position to produce a stamped imprint via guide means, whereby the printing plate holder is turned about two guide pins, wherein one guide pin is respectively disposed on a side face of the printing plate holder, and the guide pins simultaneously engage in guide slots in the upper and lower part.

A method includes producing a stamp impression with UV-curable ink with a preferably self-inking stamp. A stamp for this purpose, includes a text plate with the negative stamp impression is moved from a resting position into a stamping position, whereby in the stamping position the stamp impression with the ink is produced on a preferably smooth surface of a document or object or workpiece, and then the text plate is returned to the resting position, wherein a controller is activated, wherein for the curing of the ink at least one or several irradiation sources arranged on the stamp is or are, respectively, switched on, with UV rays aligned in the direction of a printing surface.

The invention relates to a stamp () comprising a first housing part () with a second housing part () which can be pivoted relative to the first housing part () and with a stamp plate () which can be pivoted about an axis () disposed in a first end region () of the first housing part () from a non-operating position into an operating position (), which stamp plate () is disposed between the first housing part () and the second housing part () in the non-operating position, and when the first housing part () is in the operating position (), the second housing part () and the stamp plate () form what is approximately a triangle. The second housing part () has a guide track () locating with the stamp plate () and a cam track () is disposed on the stamp plate () which locates with or can be moved to locate with an operating element (). A device comprising: a holding fixture () for a carrier device () of a stamp pad (, in particular for a stamp () with a pivotable printing plate carrier (), in which a shaft () with an approximately rectangular cross section is arranged. The carrier device () for the stamp pad () is mounted therein, and if necessary can be pushed out relative to the shaft (). A holding device () positions the carrier device () relative to the guide track of the shaft () in its position of work or use (). A further holding device () enables the carrier device () together with the stamp pad () to be positioned in a replacement or maintenance position () remote from the position of work or use (), and to be restrictable relative to the shaft () on how far it can be pushed out. The further holding device () can, if necessary, be deactivated by applying increased displacement forces on the carrier device ().

Stamp and device for receiving an inking pad

A self-inking stamp with a stamp pad disposed in a container movably retained in a shaft in the frame of the stamp. To prevent the insertion into the shaft of non-genuine stamp pads the shaft and container are respectively provided with complementary keying features. In a preferred embodiment the keying feature consists of matching grooves and protrusions in the shaft and container, respectively.

A self-inking stamp with overhead inking, with a lower component for placement on the surface to be stamped, with a swivel mechanism for a print platen support arranged in the lower component for swiveling reciprocal movement of a print platen support between a stamp pad and a support frame, and with an actuator upper component mounted for slideable movement against the bias of a spring relative to the lower component, the upper component straddling the lower component and connected by its lateral parts to the lower component by a print platen support swivel axle guided in elongated openings of the lower component, whereby the actuator upper component is provided with a substantially U-shaped body portion and a hood part of transparent material pivotally connected therewith and covering an oblique text receiving plate at the upper transverse member of the body portion and the open fron section of the body portion, and whereby the lower component in a direction away from the stamp pad receptacle at its front section forms an opening in a downward direction, the opening being covered by a transparent wall member extending upwardly from the support frame which is connected with the lower component by a resilient snap connection.
