A piston pump for brake systems employs a pulsation-smoothing device that functions especially well in the region of the outlet valve. As a result, substantially less noise occurs, and the durability of the piston pump is substantially better. The piston pump is used essentially in traction-controlled motor vehicle brake systems.

Piston pump

A multi-part filter combination is received in a stepped bore of a fluid-carrying component. A larger-diameter filter part is associated with a larger-diameter bore portion, and a smaller-diameter filter part is associated with a smaller-diameter bore portion. The two filter parts of the filter combination are connected by a connecting part. When the two filter parts are joined in their respective final position in the bore, this connecting part is detachable by means of a die to be introduced into the bore. The filter combination can be used in a valve block serving to receive a magnet valve.

Multi-part filter combination

A solenoid valve with a valve dome in which an armature is contained in an axially movable fashion and onto which a coil is slid for actuating the solenoid valve. In order to mechanically fasten and seal the solenoid valve in a receiving bore of a hydraulic block. A valve seat part is inserted into an open end of the valve dome and an annular ring-shaped valve support is press fitted onto the open end of the valve dome so that the valve seat part, the valve dome, and the valve support are mechanically connected to one another and are sealed in a pressure-tight fashion. The solenoid valve is easy-to-manufacture and is sealed without separate seals.

A barrier valve including an armature, longitudinally movable toward a pole core by excitation of an electrical winding. A prestressed compression spring in a longitudinal bore of the armature, as well as a support body, loaded by the compression spring, that is braced on a shoulder of the bore. The barrier valve furthermore has a tappet, which engages the support body and is movable relative to the armature and carries a closing body of a seat valve. When the winding is excited, the closing body is movable, overcoming the valve stroke, toward a valve seat of the seat valve. When the winding is excited, the closing body can be lifted from the valve seat by hydraulic forces acting on the closing body toward the valve seat, counter to the spring force of the compression spring in the armature. The stroke of the tappet relative to the armature engaging the pole core is limited to an amount less than the valve stroke. The barrier valve can be used in slip-controlled hydraulic brake systems and is distinguished by low noise when the pressure limiting function becomes operative.

To provide for fast response of a servo drive with a synchronous machine in which the same torque is available over the entire rotational range of the machine regardless of angular position of the rotor, phase currents to phase windings, preferably three-phase, are controlled in dependence on required torque, and steered to the respective phase windings by a rotor position transducer in such a manner that the sum of all the phase currents remains constant, and is connected to the respective phase windings, in pulses, during an electrical angular range when induced armature counter electromotive force voltages in the respective phase windings, which have an essentially trapezoidal shape, are in their flat or unvarying range within the voltage distribution during revolution of the rotor. Thus, currents are supplied to the phase windings only when the counter EMF voltages are essentially constant. A full-wave bridge-type current supply is suitable, using semiconductor switches, which are suitably controlled to steer currents to the respective phase windings, thus reducing commutating losses since only one of the semiconductor switches is switched ON or OFF, the remaining semiconductor switches functioning only as current steering elements.
