The disclosure relates to an electromechanical camshaft adjuster comprising an electric motor and an adjusting gear, which has a housing with two housing parts that are sealed off with respect to each other by means of a static seal and with respect to the electric motor and a cylinder head by means of two dynamic seals. A first housing part of the adjusting gear has a pot shape that tapers in a stepped manner towards a housing bottom of the housing part, said pot shape having three different inner diameter regions. In the region closest to the bottom with the smallest inner diameter, a stop plate that acts in the circumferential direction is held. In the region with the middle inner diameter, an output ring gear is mounted with play, and in the region with the largest inner diameter, an input ring gear is secured.

Electromechanical camshaft adjuster

A strain wave gearing, comprising an elastic gear retained by a housing component, wherein a connection between the elastic gear and the housing component has a first play in a circumferential direction and a second play in an axial and radial direction with respect to a center axis of rotation of the elastic gear, wherein the first play is an amount less than the second play.

Gearing having an elastic gear

A harmonic drive is provided that comprises a wave generator, a flexible, externally toothed gear element that can be deformed by said wave generator, and at least one internally toothed gear component which meshes with the flexible, externally toothed gear element. The externally toothed element has, with respect to its mechanically unloaded state, a non-circular shape that deviates from an elliptical shape.

Harmonic drive

A transmission component is described in which a cylindrical section has outer teeth, and a flange extends radially outward relative to the cylindrical section. The flange has a plurality of raised connecting sections that are axially offset from a remainder of the flange. Each connecting section has a hole configured to receive a fastener such as a screw. In certain embodiments, a plurality of recesses are provided radially between the connecting sections and the cylindrical section.

Flexible transmission component

A gearing (), in particular a strain wave gearing, including an elastic gear () having a flange (), which flange is fastened to a housing component () of the gearing (). A connecting assembly () for retaining the flange () on the housing component () includes a plurality of fastening points (), wherein, outside of the fastening points (), the connecting assembly () has axial play between the flange () and the housing component (), with respect to the center axis (M) of the gear ().
