A hydraulic pressure amplifier arrangement () is described comprising a supply port (A), a pressure outlet (A) connected to the supply port via check valve means (), a tank port (B), an intensifier section () having a high pressure piston () in a high pressure cylinder () which is connected to the pressure outlet (A), a low pressure piston () in a low pressure cylinder () and connected to the high pressure piston (), an intermediate space () between the high pressure piston () and the low pressure piston (), a control valve () controlling a pressure in the low pressure cylinder (), and a feeder arrangement of the intensifier section () including an input connection () connected to the supply port (A) and a return connection () connected to the tank port (B). Such a pressure amplifier arrangement should have a simple construction. To this end the feeder arrangement () comprises throttling means ().

Hydraulic pressure amplifier arrangement

A hydraulic pressure amplifier arrangement () is described comprising a supply port (A), a pressure outlet (A) connected to the supply port via check valve means (), an intensifier section () having a high pressure piston () in a high pressure cylinder (), a low pressure piston () in a low pressure cylinder () and connected to the high pressure piston (), and a control valve () controlling a pressure in the low pressure cylinder (), wherein the control valve () comprises a hydraulically actuated valve element (). Such a pressure amplifier arrangement should have a good operational behavior in a cost effective manner. To this end the control valve () comprises spring meansacting on the valve element () in a direction towards a starting position of the control valve.

A hydraulic actuator () is disclosed comprising a cylinder housing (), a piston () with a piston rod () being displaceably arranged inside the cylinder housing () and a pressure amplifier () comprising an inlet section () with a pressure inlet port (), an active section () with a high pressure outlet port (), a low pressure chamber () and a high pressure chamber (). It is an objective of the invention to provide a hydraulic actuator () with a modular pressure amplifier (). To this end, the inlet section () is arranged inside the piston rod (), and wherein the low pressure chamber () is stationarily arranged relative to the inlet section ().

A hydraulic actuator () is disclosed comprising a cylinder housing (), a piston () with a piston rod () being displaceably arranged inside the cylinder housing () and a pressure amplifier () comprising an inlet section () with a pressure inlet port (), an active section () with a high pressure outlet port (), a low pressure chamber () and a high pressure chamber (). It is an objective of the invention to provide a hydraulic actuator () with a modular pressure amplifier (). To this end, the hydraulic actuator () comprises a cartridge pressure amplifier () comprising a sleeve () being arranged at least partially inside the piston rod (), and wherein the pressure amplifier () is stationarily arranged inside the sleeve ().

Hydraulic actuator with cartridge pressure amplifier

A pressure amplifier () is described comprising a housing () a low pressure chamber (-), a high pressure chamber (-) and for transmitting means between the low pressure chamber (-) and the high pressure chamber (-). Such a pressure amplifier should have a compact design. To this end the force transmitting means comprise a rotor () arranged in a bore () of the housing (), wherein the rotor () comprises a radially extending low pressure wing () and a radially extending high pressure wing (), the low pressure wing () together with the housing () delimiting the low pressure chamber (-) and the high pressure wing () together with the housing () delimiting the high pressure chamber (-), wherein a supply of fluid into the low pressure chamber (-) causes a rotation of the rotor () and a rotation of the rotor causes a decrease of volume of the high pressure chamber (-).
