An apparatus and methods are provided for sheltering and/or launching devices such as projectiles or a tracking device. The apparatus preferably includes a main body having a bottom, a plurality of walls connected to and extending upwardly from the bottom, and an inner chamber defined by the inner confines of the bottom and the plurality of walls. An inner chamber cover is connected to the main body for covering the inner chamber of the main body when in a closed position and for accessing the inner chamber when in an open position. A sheltered device mount preferably is positioned in the inner chamber and connected to the main body for mounting a device to be sheltered thereto. A sheltered device mount extender and retractor is connected to the sheltered device mount for extending the sheltered device mount upwardly from the bottom simultaneous with the opening of the inner chamber cover to thereby position the sheltered device mount for operational use and retracting the sheltered device mount downwardly toward the bottom simultaneous with the closing of the inner chamber cover to thereby position the sheltered device mount for sheltering.

In an underground storage space, particularly for endangered goods, access is effected via a left the opening of which, leading into the storage space, can be closed by two covers which are arranged spaced apart from each other.

A radial piston engine is provided having recesses in the area of movement of the rollers, adapted to receive roller sections on both roller end faces. For guiding the roller end faces, oppositely located guide surfaces are milled in the cylinder block for said rollers.

Braking apparatus, in particular braking apparatus, using discs for use together with a rotary disc support adapted to support a first set of discs. A brake housing is provided which support a second set of discs which are interdigitating with the first set. A brake piston is located in an opening of the brake housing in a reciprocable manner. A Spring biases the brake piston towards the first and second sets of discs. Separately from the brake piston a cover mounted at the brake housing is provided.

The invention relates to a radial piston engine, particularly a radial piston motor comprising a cylinder block within which a plurality of pistons and rollers are reciprocally mounted for cooperation with a cam path provided by a cam disc. Detent means are used to releasably locate the cylinders and rollers in a position corresponding with the lower dead point position of the pistons.

A radial piston engine comprising: a housing, an annular cam disk fixedly mounted in said housing, a cylinder block rotatably mounted about an axis with respect to said cam disk, a plurality of bores arranged in said cylinder block in a position radially with respect to said axis of rotation, a plurality of pistons respectively mounted in said bores, and cylindrical rollers for supporting said pistons on said cam disk, said rollers having axes which extend parallel to the axis of rotation of the cylinder block, and wherein said bores of said cylinder block which are adapted to receive and pistons are provided with recesses in the area of movement of said rollers, so as to receive sections of said rollers on both endfaces of said rollers.

The invention relates to a pump, in particular to an axial piston pump of the swash plate type, wherein the suction pressure medium is fed into the swash plate chamber, so as to be arranged in layers of different pressure. The pressure medium is removed from a desired pressure layer and supplied to the pump chamber so as to obtain a desired pump flow characteristic.

The invention relates to a piston machine comprising a plurality of pistons and changeable piston displacement for varying the torque and speed. The pistons are connected via control bores and distributor passages in the distributor of the machine to a high pressure and low pressure connection. To reduce the displacement a switching valve is provided via which the inactive pistons are connected together via their distributor passages and also possibly subjected to an external very low servo pressure or tank pressure. This reduces the frictional losses, increases the efficiency and avoids flow losses of the valve.

In a radial piston machine which includes a driven rotatable rotor with radial pistons displaceable in radial recesses of the rotor by pressure medium and carrying rollers which cooperate with a cam track of the rigid cam plate, the length of the rollers can be increased due to the provision in the bores receiving the rollers respective opposing recesses in which portions of the roller are received.

Radial piston machine

A radial piston machine includes a stationary cam plate and a rotational cylinder block provided with radial bores receiving a plurality of radial pistons displaceable in those bores and supported against the cam plate surrounding the cylindrical block by rollers. Each piston has in the region of supporting the roller a web which is cured and supported in one of the grooves formed in the cam plate.

The present invention relates to a rotary piston machine comprising a housing which consists of a flange housing, an intermediate housing and an end housing. The flange housing has a flange extending there from landing the machine on a suitable support. A shaft is rotatively supported within the housing, and a rotor is fixedly mounted on the shaft and adapted to rotate together with the shaft. A hollow gear for farming compressing chambers is also located within the housing for cooperation with the rotor. A commutator is fixedly mounted within the flange housing means and is adapted to supply pressure medium to and to remove pressure medium from the compressing chambers.

A piston for a hydraulic piston machine in which a piston body receives a ball in a space defined at one end of thereof. A bearing dish supports the ball in the space with an O-ring engaging the recess to seal the bottom surface of the bearing dish. Preferably the bearing dish is formed with a steel support layer, a bronze layer cast onto the steel support layer, and a plastic layer supporting the ball.

Piston for a hydraulic piston machine of the multiple displacement type

A radial piston machine has a cylindrical housing which encloses a rotary shaft formed with an eccentric. A plurality of stationary piston rods is connected to the inner wall of the housing and radially directed toward the shaft. The free ends of piston rods are provided with ball-and-socket joints permitting universal rotary movement of the pistons. Each piston slidably engages the inner wall of an assigned cylinder which at its bottom wall slidably engages the eccentric. In a modification, the spherical surface of the stationary ball joint directly engages the inner wall of the cylinder.

A rotary machine, particularly a planetary gear motor, has a control plate 4, two annular channels (18, 19) which are arranged on the inner circumference of a cup-shaped housing section 7 and stationary commutators (8, 9) which are arranged side by side adjacent the annular channels. The control channels are coupled together when the transit channel 15 and when the plate and one of the annular channels are aligned with an open corner channel 16 and alternately with the annular channels. A simply shaped and simply manufactured commutator includes two like-formed disk-shaped commutators, which completely intersect alternately with each other. Transit channels 15 are provided and, with the plate cam and one of the annular channels, open into corner channels 16. Both commutators are arranged in such a way that at times a transit channel of a commutator adjoins a corner channel of the other commutator and vice versa.

Rotary fluid actuated machine

A hydraulic internal gear machine includes a positive displacement unit for working liquid constituted by a rotary outer gear and an inner gear surrounding the outer gear and being in mesh therewith at one point to define a plurality of increasing liquid displacement chambers. The chambers are laterally bounded by a rotary disc which cooperates with a stationary control plate. The disc and the control plates are formed respectively with flow control openings for admitting pressure liquid into a half of the chambers and for discharging the liquid from the other half of the number of chambers. To compensate for the tilting moment acting on the rotary disc, the interface between the rotary disc and the control chamber is provided with arcuate recessed sections communicating with the openings in the rotary disc to apply pressurized liquid in the displacement chambers against both sides of the rotary disc.
