A cleaning tool for a vacuum cleaning device has a housing and a motor arranged in the housing. A tool carrier and a rotatingly driven working tool are provided. The working tool has two ends rotatably supported in the tool carrier. The tool carrier and the working tool form a changing unit. The tool carrier is detachably secured on the housing by catch elements. A gear system is connected between the motor and the working tool, wherein the motor drives via the gear system the working tool. The gear system has a driving wheel driven by the motor and a driven wheel fixedly connected to the working tool. The tool carrier and the housing have wall sections that overlap one another and align the tool carrier relative to the housing and the driven wheel relative to the driving wheel when the changing unit is inserted into the housing.

A cleaning tool for a vacuum cleaning device has a housing having a bottom plate with a working slot. A rotatingly driven working tool is rotatably supported in the housing and passes through the working slot to act on a surface to be cleaned. A motor is arranged in the housing and has a motor shaft. A gear system is connected between the motor and the working tool, wherein the gear system has a driving wheel driven by the motor shaft and a driven wheel fixedly connected to the working tool. The driving wheel and the driven wheel are V-belt pulleys and have a peripheral groove, respectively. The gear system further has a V-gear positioned between the driving wheel and the driven wheel, wherein the V-gear has an outer periphery that engages the peripheral grooves for establishing a driving connection between the driving wheel and the driven wheel.

A vacuum cleaning tool has a housing having a turbine chamber and a bottom plate. A working tool is rotatably supported in the housing. An air turbine for driving the working tool is arranged in the turbine chamber and has axial end faces defining a gap relative to the chamber sidewalls. A turbine chamber wall has a first intake window and at least one second intake window. The first intake window supplies a driving suction air stream to the peripheral turbine surface on a first side of a plane that extends through the turbine axis. The second intake window supplies a partial suction air stream to the turbine chamber that enters the turbine chamber on a second side of the plane extending through the turbine axis. The second intake window overlaps at least partially at least one gap and the partial suction air stream flows into the gap.

A vacuum cleaning tool, especially a suction nozzle for the floor, is provided. The tool includes a housing having a suction chamber that is connected to a vacuum cleaning unit by a connector. Disposed in the suction chamber is a brush roller, the bristles of which extend through a suction opening. The brush roller is rotatably disposed in the housing between lateral mounting pieces, which are held by respective pivot arms in such a way on a pivot element provided in the housing that the brush roller can be pivoted out of the suction chamber about a pivot axis that is disposed approximately parallel to the brush roller. One of the pivot arms is detachably connected with the pivot element via a plug connection, which is provided with electrical plug contacts via which the electrical line of an electric drive motor disposed in the brush roller can be connected with an external power source.

A vacuum cleaning tool having a housing that includes a connector for a vacuum hose of a vacuum cleaning apparatus is provided. Disposed in a brush chamber of the housing is a brush roller, the bristles of which project through a vacuum slot formed in the base plate of the housing. The brush roller is driven via a belt drive by an air turbine, which is provided in a turbine chamber of the housing. Provided between the brush chamber and the turbine chamber is a guide member for guiding the suction air stream that is to act upon the air turbine. In order when the vacuum cleaning tool is raised from the floor to reduce the drive power, the guide member is pivotably mounted in the housing of the tool. In a first operating pivot position the suction air stream is directed essentially tangentially against the air turbine to achieve a high drive power. In a second, non-operative pivot position the suction air stream is directed essentially radially against the turbine to achieve a low no-load speed.

Vacuum cleaning tool for a vacuum cleaning apparatus

A floor cleaning apparatus having a brush chamber formed in a main housing is provided. The brush chamber has a dirt inlet slot that faces the floor that is to be cleaned and extends over the width of the brush chamber transverse to the direction of work. Rotatably mounted in the brush chamber is a brush roller that is driven by a motor. The bristles of the brush roller extend outwardly through the dirt inlet slot. The brush chamber communicates via a connecting channel with a dirt collecting chamber. To ensure a reliable sweeping-up of dirt and a simple emptying of the apparatus, the dirt collecting chamber directly adjoins the main housing and is formed in an independent chamber housing that is separable from the main housing. The chamber housing has a sweeping ramp that leads to the dirt collecting chamber and a front edge that is remote from the dirt collecting chamber, extends transverse to the direction of work, and is disposed at approximately the path of the bristles of the brush roller.

A suction line has a stiff suction tube and a flexible suction hose having a connecting end. A connector for connecting the connecting end of the flexible suction hose to the stiff suction tube to form the suction line having free ends is provided. One of the free ends of the suction line is connected to a vacuum source. The other free end of the suction line can receive a vacuuming tool. The stiff suction tube has a longitudinal axis. The connector is rotatable about an axis extending transverse to the longitudinal axis.

A cleaning roller for a suction head has a substantially cylindrical base body with a cylindrical mantle surface. The base body is driven in rotation about an axis of rotation. Support members are connected to the base body and project radially past the cylindrical mantle surface. At least one elongate wiper blade with a shaft is fastened to the support members so as to extend parallel to the axis of rotation. The at least one wiper blade in its working position projects from the base body in the radial direction. The wiper blade is pivotable out of the working position about a pivot axis defined by the shaft. The wiper blade is made of elastic material.

A vacuum cleaning tool for connecting to a suction tube of a vacuum cleaning device according has a casing with a bottom plate facing a floor surface to be cleaned. A brush chamber is enclosed within the casing. A brush roller having bristles is rotatably supported within the brush chamber. An electric motor drives the brush roller. The bottom plate has a suction opening through which the bristles of the brush roller extend. A speed regulator is connected to the electric motor. A movement sensor for controlling the speed regulator is provided, wherein the electric motor is switched off by the speed regulator as a function of a signal emitted by the movement sensor. A first recognition circuit is connected between the movement sensor and the speed regulator.

A vacuum cleaning tool comprising a housing having a base that is provided with at least one intake opening over which is provided a brush chamber in which is disposed a brush roller having bristles that project into the intake opening. A flow channel connects the brush chamber to a connector that can communicate with a vacuum line of a vacuum cleaning unit. A turbine chamber is disposed in the flow channel and accommodates an air turbine that can rotatably drive the brush roller. The housing also has a wet intake opening that is disposed approximately in the plane of the base of the housing. Parallel to the brush chamber and the flow channel, the housing has a wet intake channel that connects the wet intake opening to the connector. Respective controllable flow blocking devices are disposed in the wet intake channel and in the flow channel.

Vacuum cleaning tool for wet and dry vacuum cleaners

A vacuum cleaner includes a receptacle and a cover, for closing the receptacle, having a radially open chute. A drive motor is connected within the cover. A suction fan, producing a suction air stream that is guided via the suction socket into the receptacle and removed from the receptacle, is attached within the cover. An angular suction socket is positioned within the chute. The angular suction socket has a first leg for receiving a suction hose that extends radially with respect to a longitudinal central axis of the vacuum cleaner and a second leg that extends substantially vertically into the receptacle at a distance from the longitudinal central axis. The second leg is connected within the chute in the vicinity of the longitudinal central axis so as to be vertically and horizontally tiltable. Preferably, the vacuum cleaner comprises a ball-and-socket joint for tiltably connecting the second leg of the suction socket within the chute.
