The present invention relates to a method for deployment, configuration and provision of services and/or features for an inbound roamer, wherein an identity information of a first Public Land Mobile Network, to which a mobile equipment of the inbound roamer is subscribed is obtained, the obtained identity information of the first Public Land Mobile Network is provided to the Radio Access Network of a second Public Land Mobile Network, at least one service and/or feature of the second Public Land Mobile Network is configured and provided based on the identity information of the first Public Land Mobile Network to which the mobile equipment of the inbound roamer is subscribed. The present invention further relates to a telecommunications system configured and/or adapted to execute the inventive method.

A method, mobile edge system and network system are provided for performing an application handover for mobile edge computing applications in a mobile communication network. The method includes: evaluating signal characteristics of radio signals sent by base stations received by a mobile device, wherein the mobile device is connected to the network via a first base station; exchanging data with a first mobile edge system assigned to the first base station, wherein the first system executes an application assigned to the mobile device; connecting the first system to a second mobile edge system depending on the signal characteristics, wherein the second system is assigned to a second base station; executing the application assigned to the mobile device on the second system; and performing a handover from the first base station to the second base station such that the mobile device is connected with the network via the second base station.

A method for the switchover of a mobile terminal device from a first radio network of a mobile radio system to a second radio network is described. The switchover is carried out on the basis of a CS fallback mechanism, and whereby, on the basis of the switchover, the mobile terminal device logs on to a base station of the second radio network in order to establish a connection. In conjunction with the log-on, the mobile terminal device transmits a notification pertaining to the CS fallback mechanism to the base station, and the base station registers the log-on of the terminal device as a function of the notification.
