The present disclosure relates to the use of alkoxylated fatty amido alcohols in the process to make viscose wherein cellulose is reacted with lye and the lye strength is from about 8 to about 20% by weight of NaOH, based on the weight of water in the reaction mixture. The use as a reaction improvement additive improves the reaction rate between the cellulose and the lye. The use also improves the reaction between alkali-cellulose and CS. The present disclosure also relates to solid cellulose that is treated with one or more ethoxylated fatty amido alcohols and which is suitable for use in the claimed process.

Disclosed is an agricultural composition comprising at least one agricultural chemical and at least one cellulose ether, wherein the cellulose ether is a nonionic methylethylhydroxyethyl cellulose (MEHEC) polymer as well as a method for reducing spray drift during the spraying of an aqueous solution. The method comprises combining the MEHEC polymer with at least one agricultural chemical to obtain the aqueous solution and spraying the aqueous solution. Also disclosed is a method for increasing resistance to rain wash off of an aqueous solution sprayed onto a surface.

Cellulose ether as a drift control agent and rainfastness agent

A composition is provided, comprising a non-ionic, water-soluble, hydrophobically modified lower alkyl hydroxyalkyl linear polysaccharide ether, wherein the hydrophobic group comprises a long-chain C10-C18 alkyl or alkenyl group, the lower alkyl group has 1-4 carbon atoms, and the hydroxyalkyl groups are hydroxyethyl and/or hydroxypropyl; and one or more agriculturally active ingredient. The present invention provides a formulation comprising a pesticide and/or a plant growth regulator; an acyl morpholine of the formula (I) where R is H, CHor CH; and a polar aprotic co-solvent different from an acyl morpholine of formula (I). The formulation can be used in treatment of plants, and is especially well suited for use as a soluble liquid formulation.
