An alignment adjusting device is provided for an optical focal plane assembly, wherein the optical focal plane assembly has a detector with a detector plane and is adapted to be mounted to an optics assembly having an optical focal plane. The alignment adjusting device is adapted for allowing an alignment of the detector plane representing an image area and the optical focal plane. The alignment adjusting device includes a detector support for receiving the detector; a plurality of members, wherein a first member of the plurality of the members is connected to the detector support and a second member is connected to a flange that is adapted to be connected to the optics assembly. The first member, the second member and the remaining number of the members are pairwise moveable connected to each other by a number of springs and/or supporting elements.

Alignment adjusting device

An arrangement for force-free retention of a bearing system having an axis of rotation comprises a cylindrical hollow axle for concentrically receiving and holding the bearing system. By way of a hold-down and release mechanism, a bearing shell can be fastened to the hollow axle in such a manner that, when the bearing system is not acted upon by a load, all lateral and axial forces applied to the arrangement can be transmitted via the cylindrical hollow axle into axle receiving devices.

Arrangement for holding a bearing system

A load disconnection lock having a locking device which is secured against unlocking by means of a safety device as long as the tensile load is not less than a predefined minimum value, and which unlocks automatically when the tensile load is less than the predefined minimum value. A second safety device is provided for the locking device and has a fluid-filled housing in which a piston is guided. The piston has a tensile load applied to it and has a hole as a flow channel for the fluid, such that the fluid can be exchanged between two housing subareas on both sides of the piston. The piston is connected to an activation slide which releases the locking device as soon as the piston has moved through a predetermined distance.

Load disconnection lock

A deployable antenna reflector comprising a central dish and a plurality of deployable sheet-like panels arranged around the central dish. The reflector further comprises a central supporting body, whereon the central dish is fixedly mounted and whereto the deployable sheet-like panels are hinged. The rotation axes of the individual deployable sheet-like panels are tilted with respect to the center point of the central dish. In the stowed configuration of the reflector, the deployable sheet-like panels are at least partially deflected in order to minimize the envelope of the reflector and that the panels relax upon deployment.

Trailing cable winch and method of operation in which an axially stationary, rotating winding arm is disposed in a carrier tube and driven by a motor arranged in the carrier tube. The trailing cable winch is operable to deposit a trailing cable on an axially reversibly movable cable drum which is disposed on the carrier tube. The rotation of the winding arm is synchronized with the advancing of the cable drum, so that, during a linear movement of the cable drum, the advance per rotation of the winding arm corresponds exactly to the diameter of the trailing cable. In the end position of the cable drum, two cable layers are deposited above one another.

In a towed body with infrared flares located at its rear, the flares are in an ejection unit and are pulled out of the towed body via a tow cable as they ignite, preventing the towed body from being destroyed by missiles when it is used during target simulation.

A starting device for a flying body on an aircraft includes a structural frame fixed to the aircraft, a towed-body holding saddle on which the towed flying body can be held by the effect of the tractive forces of the trail line and at least one swivelling lever by means of which the towed-body holding saddle is swivellably connected with the structural frame. The towed-body holding saddle is swivellable so that it can be moved, together with the towed flying body, from a first position close to the aircraft, into a parallel position farther away from the aircraft and back. The position away from the aircraft is displaced outwardly and downwardly, relative to the axes of the aircraft, the position close to the aircraft.
