A method for connecting low power radios into a self-assembling and self-healing network with multiple portals to higher speed networks such as, but not limited to, electrical or optical Ethernet is provided for monitoring transmission lines, for example, or other monitoring application. An arrangement of sensors is provided (e.g., sensors can be associated with clamps or positioned along infrastructure being monitored and without dependence on any clamps or other devices) that are designed to communicate and operate in an geographically distributed array to provide increased and autonomous monitoring of large utility, highway, communication and similar networks. A unique collection of sensors (e.g., an anemometer with no moving parts) provides comprehensive diagnostics for improved operation of large geographic scale utility, highway, communication and similar infrastructure.

Transmission line measuring device and method for connectivity and monitoring

A clamp or other device is provided that includes an integral or associated current transformer and associated circuitry with design elements to address high temperature operation or other operating parameters. An arrangement of sensors is provided (e.g., sensors can be associated with clamps or positioned along infrastructure being monitored and without dependence on any clamps or other devices) that are designed to communicate and operate in an geographically distributed array to provide increased and autonomous monitoring of large utility, highway, communication and similar networks. A unique collection of sensors (e.g., an anemometer with no moving parts) provides comprehensive diagnostics for improved operation of large geographic scale utility, highway, communication and similar infrastructure.

Disclosed herein is an electrical connector set-screw. The electrical connector set-screw includes a body part and a head part. The body part includes a threaded section and a channel. The threaded section extends between a first end and an opposite second end of the body part. The channel extends through a portion of the body part. The channel is spaced from the first end and the second end of the body part The head part is connected to the body part. The head part includes a top section and an integral locking section. The top section is configured to be received by a tool. The integral locking section extends through the channel.

Submersible electrical set-screw connector

Disclosed herein is an electrical connector assembly. The electrical connector assembly includes a connector member, a wedge sleeve, a wedge, and outer sleeve, and an inner sleeve. The connector member has a first end section and a second end section. The wedge sleeve has a general tube shape. The wedge sleeve includes a front end and a rear end. The front end of the wedge sleeve is mounted onto the second end section of the connector member. The wedge is configured to be located between the wedge sleeve and a core member of a cable. The outer sleeve is located around the wedge sleeve. The outer sleeve has a front end which is attached onto the connector member. The inner sleeve is configured to be fitted between the outer sleeve and the cable. An outer surface of the inner sleeve comprises a first knurled area.

An electrical connector union coupler assembly including a coupling subassembly and a collet retainer. The coupling subassembly includes a coupling sleeve rotatably connected to a coupling body. The coupling body includes a first end with a threaded section and a first surface adapted to press against a first set of electrical connector wedges. The coupling sleeve is constrained on the coupling body for substantially only rotational movement relative to the coupling body. The collet retainer has a first end movably connected to the coupling sleeve by a threaded connection. The collet retainer includes a second end with a threaded section and a second surface adapted to press against a second set of electrical connector wedges.

An electrical connector assembly including a connector member; a housing having a general tube shape; wedges and an extension spring member. The housing includes a front end and a rear end. The connector performance indicating section includes a temperature sensitive indicator adapted to signal occurrence of a temperature of the portion of the connector section above a predetermined temperature.
