Disclosed is a valved drive for a gas exchange valve () in a power engine, with a magnetic rotor () which, along with a rotor section positioned at a distance from the gas exchange valve (), extends in a longitudinally movable manner inside a stator () provided with a current coil (), so that one end of the rotor () projecting out from the stator () activates the gas exchange valve () upon the stimulation of the current coil (). The rotor () is, in the area of the rotor section, preferably designed in accordance with the type of a flat-body slide valve as a vertiaclly moved rotor plate (), in which several level individual magnetic parts () are aligned.

Valve drive for a gas exchange valve

A hydraulic vehicle brake equipped with a parking brake device, in particular for motor vehicles, including a brake housing in which a hydraulic service pressure chamber is delimited by a brake piston, wherein the parking brake device acts on the brake piston and, in the applied condition, can be locked by a locking device, and an energy accumulator cooperating with the brake piston is equipped with at least one integrated spring element. In order to realize a simple and low-cost parking brake function that complies with legal requirements, according to the invention, the parking brake device is operable by a pressure that is introduced into the service pressure chamber and enables charging the energy accumulator.

Hydraulic vehicle brake

An actuator unit for an electro-hydraulic brake system of the 'brake-by-wire' type, the first and second pistons thereof being preloaded by a resetting spring each in opposition to the actuating direction. The first pressure chamber of the tandem master cylinder is connected to a hydraulic chamber limited by a simulator element. On the other hand, the simulator element defines a simulator chamber that accommodates a simulator spring and is connected to a pressure fluid reservoir. A valve device is provided to open or close the hydraulic connection between simulator chamber and pressure fluid reservoir. To increase the reliability in operation of a hydraulic fallback mode, at least one channel portion through the pressure chamber, closed at the edge at least in areas, is provided for the purposeful removal of pressure fluid contaminants by means of a compulsory pressure fluid scavenging operation.

Actuator unit for an electro-hydraulic brake system

The present invention related to a piston pump, in particular for controllable brake systems such as ABS or ESP, wherein a working chamber of the pump in front of a piston is delimited by a pressure valve, and a resetting spring with its one end is supported on a valve seat carrier of the pressure valve and with its other end resets said piston into its bottom dead center position. An object is to render the assembly of the mass-produced pumps as inexpensive and simple as possible. To achieve this object, the present invention discloses that the resetting spring be adapted to be attached directly or indirectly to the valve seat carrier in addition.

Vehicle braking system with a pneumatic brake booster

The present invention relates to a motor-pump aggregate with a motor and a piston pump , more particularly for electronically controlled brake systems of motor vehicles, wherein pistons of the pump are drivable by way of an eccentric that is connected to a shaft of the motor and are connected by means of a coupling ring, and wherein the motor has a holding plate. According to the present invention, a projection is provided on the holding plate and extends until into the range of motion of the coupling ring. This provides a stop for the coupling ring, on the one hand, and an improved outlet for leakage fluid of the pump, on the other hand.

Motor-pump aggregate

The present invention relates to a pressure control device, in particular for motor vehicle braking systems, with at least one valve carrier accommodating a pressure control valve, a pressure sensor for detecting the hydraulic pressure in a pressure fluid channel of the valve carrier as well as with an electric module including electric and/or electronic structural members and being connected to the pressure control valve and the pressure sensor by way of electric contacts. The pressure sensor is positioned in a space interposed between the pressure control valve and the electric module, with at least one of the contacts that is connected to the pressure sensor leading through a sensor carrier to the electric module. The sensor carrier is located at least in sections within the space.

Pressure control device

The present invention relates to an electromagnetic valve including a valve housing accommodating a magnet armature, a magnet core member, a valve closure member, and a valve seat to which a magnet coil can be fitted. The valve housing is composed of a first deep-drawn sleeve member and a second sleeve member that can be inserted telescopically into the first sleeve member. The second sleeve member has an open end remote from the first sleeve member which is preferably configured as a metal sealing seat with a valve accommodating member.

Electromagnetic valve

A method for operating a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine having gas exchange valves which are variably adjustable with respect to the valve opening characteristics either directly electromagnetically or by way of an electrohydraulic valve actuation system which includes several electromagnetic valves. For adaptation of all gas exchange valves to a desired valve opening characteristics, the electromagnetic valves are operated cylinder-selectively in the operation of the internal combustion engine by means of variable actuating voltages and/or actuating currents.

Method for operating an internal combustion engine

Multiple forces act upon a steering spindle. Further, the mounting support of the steering spindle and the steering spindle itself are affected by tolerances, as a result of which the steering spindle with its longitudinal axis is moved radially relative to the vehicle chassis. Control devices for controlling the vehicle dynamics require steering angle sensors which have to indicate the current steering angle and variations thereof with great precision. If the steering angle is invariably fixed with respect to the chassis frame, the measurement frequently becomes inaccurate due to the radial movement of the spindle axis. As a remedy, the present invention arranges for the steering angle sensor to be positioned in the area of a spindle bearing. Favorable improvements relate to linking the sensor housing to the housing of the spindle bearing.

The present invention relates to a radial piston pump which is equipped with at least one operating piston, the said operating piston being driven by a shaft, wherein the shaft on its output end is provided with an eccentric ring accommodating a roller bearing, the bearing bushing of which encompasses the roll bodies and the eccentric ring. The design of the bearing bushing of the eccentric bearing ensures that motion of the eccentric bearing in an axial direction is prevented.

An electromagnetic valve including a valve housing machine from free cutting steel wherein the housing and the valve's magnetic core are made from identical, high-alloyed chromium and molybdenum constituents, and wherein the valve housing is fabricated from a chromium-nickel alloy and a high-alloyed chromium-molybdenum compound.

The present invention relates to an automotive vehicle brake system with wheel slip control which is provided with a non-return valve, between a secondary and a primary circuit. Initially, both circuits are evacuated for filling the brake system with pressure fluid, and evacuation of the secondary circuit is effected by way of the valve that opens. The present invention teaches providing this valve with an additional device by way of which the opening pressure of the valve is automatically increased after filling the brake system with brake fluid. The opening pressure shall be increased at least to such an extent that the valve closure member remains in the closing position at least during normal operation of the brake system. It is achieved by this provision that the secondary circuit can be sufficiently evacuated for the purpose of being filled with brake fluid, without a vacuum being generated later in the secondary circuit during a braking operation.

Hydraulic vehicle brake system with wheel slip control, and valve for such a brake system

The present invention discloses a sensor and a method of its manufacture. The sensor is used to sense position shifts, motional velocities or rotational speeds of an encoder and comprises a housing which accommodates electric components. The housing is made up of a first housing part of plastics which is at least in part enwrapped by a second injection-molded housing part that is also made of plastics. The first housing part is designed integrally with at least one positioning element molecularly interfaced with the second housing part.

The present invention relates to an automotive vehicle brake system with wheel slip control which is provided with a so-called filling valve, i.e., a non-return valve, between a secondary and a primary circuit. Initially, both circuits are evacuated for filling the brake system with pressure fluid, and evacuation of the secondary circuit is effected by way of the non-return valve that opens. The present invention suggests providing this valve with a blocking device which becomes effective when the brake is actuated for the first time, thereby causing pressure build-up in the primary circuit. The blocking device retains the valve closure member on the valve seat member, with the result that the non-return valve remains closed in the normal operation of the brake system. It is prevented by this provision that vacuum develops in the secondary circuit during a braking operation.
