Agricultural baler

An undercarriage for an agricultural machine includes a hollow axle, and a stub axle slidably received within the hollow axle. A lock arrangement locks a longitudinal position of the stub axle relative to the hollow axle. At least one shim is positioned at an outboard end of the hollow axle to adjust the distance between said stub axle and said hollow axle.

An Agricultural baler having a flywheel that is driven via a drive shaft. The flywheel is connected to a pressing component of the baler via a central shaft, wherein the flywheel is mounted over the central shaft via bearings. Further mounted on the central shaft is a shear pin flange which is connected via a shear pin to the flywheel for the purpose of transmitting a rotation movement of the flywheel to the central shaft, wherein the flywheel is held over the central shaft via first fixing component and wherein the shear pin flange is connected to the central shaft via second fixing component.

A bale discharge for an outlet of a baling chamber of an agricultural baler has a first segment and a second segment that are moveable between an extended operating position and a retracted transporting position, wherein a support structure is provided for supporting, in the retracted position, a component of the second segment, wherein the support structure includes a first protrusion and a second protrusion.

A rectangular baler comprising a bale chamber; a compacting plunger moveable between a retracted position and an extended position; an ejection arrangement provided in a wall comprising a shuttle assembly with at least one dog mounted for protruding from said wall when the shuttle assembly is moving from a rest position in the forward direction to move one or more bales forward; wherein at least one end dog is located in the rest position of the shuttle assembly in a zone near of the plunger in the extended position thereof, such that when the shuttle assembly moves in the forward direction, said at least one end dog is engageable behind a bale adjacent the inlet of the bale chamber.

A square baler has a baling chamber with slots in the top of the baling chamber for receiving twines to tie bales, and a star wheel sensor having a housing mounted on the exterior of the baling chamber and a star wheel in the housing and passing through one of the slots to contact the crop material of the bale being formed in the baling chamber. A deflector is mounted on the baling chamber to extend through the same slot as the star wheel sensor. The deflector has a region inclined relative to the slot to deflect the twine away from the star wheel.
