Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to assessing characteristics of stored data, as may be implemented for verification thereof. As may be implemented in connection with one or more apparatus or method-based embodiments, a first data signature is generated, which corresponds to a logical derivation of configuration data sent over a data bus. Outputs that correspond to data read out from each of a plurality of configuration registers, which receive the configuration data over the data bus, are logically combined into a second data signature. The first data signature and the second data signature are processed and compared for ascertaining that stored data, as stored in each of the plurality of configuration registers, accurately corresponds to the configuration data sent over the data bus for writing into each of the plurality of configuration registers.

The disclosure relates to an IQ mismatch correction module for a radio receiver, the IQ mismatch correction module comprising: an input terminal configured to receive an input signal; an output terminal configured to provide a filtered output signal; a mismatch detection module comprising: one or more bandpass filters configured to receive, from the input terminal or output terminal, a bandpass input signal and to pass a plurality of sub-bands of the bandpass input signal to provide respective bandpass filtered signals; one or more amplitude and phase mismatch detectors configured to determine amplitude and phase mismatch coefficients based on the bandpass filtered signals from the plurality of sub-bands; a transformation unit configured to apply a transformation to the amplitude and phase mismatch coefficients to provide correction filter coefficients for the plurality of sub-bands; and a filter module configured to: receive the filter coefficients for the plurality of sub-bands from the mismatch detection module; and filter the input signal in accordance with the received filter coefficients to provide the filtered output signal.

IQ mismatch correction module

A secure electronic apparatus and a method for determining that a secure electronic apparatus has been tampered with. The apparatus includes a memory and a plurality of sensors which each to receive an input signal and output a digital signal determined by the input signal and by a physical quantity sensed by the sensor (e.g. capacitance). A measurement routine includes applying a plurality of input signal values to the sensors and, for each input signal value, using the digital output signals of each sensor to determine a combined output result. The combined output results of the measurement routine are compared with a set of combined output results stored in the memory. A detected a difference between the combined output results of the measurement routine and the set of combined output results stored in the memory can be used to determine that the secure electronic apparatus has been tampered with.

Secure electronic apparatus and method

A method of operating a switched-mode power supply (SMPS) for supplying power to a load circuit, which draws a supply current that varies with an input signal to the load circuit is disclosed. The method comprises monitoring the input signal and controlling the amount of accumulated energy transferred for consumption by the load circuit, in use, in accordance with the input signal.
