Extrusion-based additive manufacturing method

A printer unit () for a 3D-printing apparatus. The printer unit comprises a printer head () comprising a nozzle () arranged to deposit printing material from the printer unit, a pressure sensor () configured to sense a pressure exerted on the printer head from the printing material, and a control unit () coupled to the pressure sensor. Illumination control

The printer head is resiliently suspended in the printer unit in a vertical direction by at least one resilient means (), allowing a vertical movement of the printer head during deposition of the printing material. The suspended printer head in its equilibrium is positionable above the underlying material at a vertical distance (&#x394;z) before deposition. During deposition of printing material, the at least one resilient means is configured to become biased by a vertical force (F) on the nozzle from the printing material on the underlying material, such that the printer head moves from its equilibrium into a position at a desired vertical distance (&#x394;z) from the underlying material.

Disclosed is a lighting module () comprising a carrier () having a major surface () including a plurality of first regions () and a plurality of second regions (), each second region being adjacent to a first region. The lighting module also has a plurality of light engines (), each light engine being located in a first region of said carrier, and an optically transmissive light exit structure () facing the major surface and being spatially separated therefrom. A light emitting device () for emitting a beam of light is disclosed. The light emission of the light emitting device () comprises an embedded code. The light emitting device () comprises a beam shape controller () for controlling a shape of the beam of light and a first processor connected to the beam shape controller, arranged for generating the embedded code. The first processor () is further arranged for embedding a message in the embedded code based on the shape of the beam of light. This allows the light emitting device () to communicate information to a receiving device based on its effect area (i.e. the illuminated area). A lamp comprising at least one light source adapted for emitting optical radiation, at least one scanning mirror, a fluorescent body and optical means for transmitting at least a portion of the optical radiation being directed from the light source by the scanning mirror onto the fluorescent body to an output of the lamp. The fluorescent body is plate-shaped, whilst the optical means comprises at least one lens, wherein each part of the plate-shaped fluorescent body can be imaged by the at least one lens in a predetermined direction to the output of the lamp.
