A shift element () for an automatic transmission having a hydraulically actuable piston; at least one hydraulic duct (); an axially movable first shift element half () operatively connected to the piston; a second shift element half (); a bearing carrier (); a ring-shaped component (); and a Hall sensor () in the bearing carrier (). The first shift element half () has a notch-like encoder contour () for the Hall sensor (). The ring-shaped component () is composed of a non-magnetic material transparent to the Hall sensor (). The ring-shaped component () is designed and arranged on the outer diameter of the first shift element half (), such that an air gap between the notch-like encoder contour () and the Hall sensor () is filled by the ring-shaped component (), and hydraulic oil flows in the remaining region along the circumference of the first shift element half ().

Claw shifting element

A dog clutch () includes a piston () that is firmly connected to a sensor bolt () at one axial end of the sensor bolt (). The piston () is coaxially aligned with the sensor bolt (), and the sensor bolt () is configured as a sensor element for a position sensor () at a sensor section () of the sensor bolt () that is positioned on a free, piston-remote axial end () of the sensor bolt ().

Jaw clutch

A transmission device () with a hydraulic system () comprising a main transmission pump device for supplying various transmission components with hydraulic fluid. The main transmission pump device is driven by torque applied to the transmission input shaft (). A force flow between the transmission input shaft () and transmission output shaft () is produced by various hydraulically actuated transmission components. When the hydraulic system () is not supplied by the main transmission pump, the force flow is interrupted. The hydraulic system () has an auxiliary pump device () by virtue of which the hydraulic system () too can be supplied with hydraulic fluid. The auxiliary pump device () is driven by torque applied to the transmission output shaft () at least when the force flow is interrupted.

Arrangement comprising at least one dog clutch

A transmission with forward and reverse gears comprising planetary gearsets, shafts and shift elements. The sun gear of gearset (P) couples shaft () that is connectable, via brake (), to housing (G). The carriers of gearsets (P, P) couple shaft () which is connectable, via clutch (), to drive input shaft (). Input shaft () is connectable, via clutches (), respectively to shafts (). Shaft () couples the ring gear of gearset (P). Shaft () is connectable, via brake (), to housing (G) and couples the sun gears of gearsets (PP). The ring gears of gearsets (PP) couple drive output shaft (). The carrier of gearset (P) couples shaft () which couples a component connecting the ring gear of gearset (P) and the sun gear of gearset (P). A multi-step transmission including four gear sets, shafts, and shifting elements. The sun gear of gearset (P) couples shaft () which communicates, via brake (), with the housing. The carrier of gearset (P) couples the output shaft, which couples the ring gear of gearset (P). The ring gear of gearset (P) couples shaft (), which couples the carrier of gearset (P) and, via clutch (), communicates with the drive shaft, which communicates, via clutch (), with the ring gear of gearset (P) coupled to shaft (), and, via clutch (), communicates with shaft (). Shaft () couples the sun gear of gearset (P), and, via brake (), communicates with the housing. The carrier of gearset (P) couples the shaft (), the ring gear of gearset (P) and the sun gear of gearset (P). The carrier of gearset (P) couples the shaft (), which, via brake (), communicates with the housing.

Multi-step-transmission

A multi-speed transmission having four gearsets, eight shafts and six shifting elements. The sun gear of gearset (P) couples, via shaft () and brake (), the housing (G), and, via clutch () the drive shaft. The carriers of gearsets (P, P) communicate, via shaft () and brake (), with housing (G), and the sun gear of gearset (P) communicates, via shaft () and clutch (), with the drive shaft. The ring gears of gearsets (P, P) communicate, via shaft (), with the ring gear of gearset (P) and the sun gear of gearset (P). The ring gear of gearset (P) and the sun gear of gearset (P) are connected with one another. The sun gear of gearset (P) communicates, via shaft () and brake (), with housing (G). The carriers of gearsets (P, P) communicate, via shaft () and clutch (), with the drive shaft and the output shaft couples the ring gear of gearset (P).

The output shaft couples the ring gears of gearsets (P, P).

A device for actuating a disk clutch (B) in a transmission, which consists of an actuating piston-cylinder arrangement with rotation pressure compensation, whose actuating piston () is associated with a pressure chamber () for a pressure medium fluid to produce the actuating force, and in which a pressure compensation chamber () is provided, in which by virtue of centrifugal action a pressure medium fluid produces on the actuating piston a compensation force directed in opposition to the actuation direction of the actuating piston, the pressure chamber and the pressure compensation chamber each having a delivery line () for pressure medium fluid. To simplify the structure of this device and reduce costs, the pressure compensation chamber is arranged completely a radial distance away from the pressure chamber, the pressure compensation chamber is delimited by a disk carrier () of the disk clutch that carries inner disks and by the actuating piston and the pressure compensation chamber is arranged radially above a flow channel () leading through the disk carrier that carries inner disks ().

Device for actuating a multiplate clutch in a transmission

A multistep automatic transmission having an input shaft, an output shaft, three planetary gearsets and five shifting elements. A sun gear of the third planetary gearset is affixed above the first shifting element to a transmission housing. The input shaft is bound to a sun gear of the second planetary gearset and is bound above the second shifting element with a sun gear of the first planetary gearset and/or by way of the fifth shifting element with a link of the first planetary gearset. The output shaft is bound together with the internal gear of the first planetary gearset and one of the links of the second or third planetary gearset. The second planetary gearset is located in the middle of the three planetary gearsets and is placed beside the third planetary gearset. The second and fifth shifting elements are placed between the first and second planetary gearsets.

Multistep automatic transmission with three planetary gear trains

A clutch arrangement in an automatic transmission, comprising two axially adjacent multi-disk clutches (B, E) to each is assigned a piston/cylinder arrangement for axially actuating the clutch, a pressure compensation space for a dynamic clutch actuation pressure compensation and a mechanism for supplying lubricant or cooling medium. The aim is to reduce the axial overall length of a transmission of this type. The disk packets of both clutches (B, E) are placed one above the other in a radial manner, the pressure compensation space () for the radially outer clutch (B) is permitted to axially border on the pressure space () for actuating the piston () of the radially inner clutch (E), and the lubricant or cooling medium flow () for the radially outer clutch (B) is directly tapped from the pressure compensation space () for actuating the outer clutch (B).

Clutch arrangement in an automatic transmission having an installation space-saving coolant supply

A multi-stage automatic transmission comprises a drive input shaft (AN), a drive output shaft (AB), three planetary gearwheel assemblies (RS, RS, RS) arranged next to one another in series and five shift control elements (A to E). A sun gearwheel (SO) of the third planetary gearwheel assembly (RS) can be fixed relative to a transmission housing (GG) by means of the first shift control element (A). The drive input shaft (AN) is connected to a sun gearwheel (SO) of the second planetary gearwheel assembly (RS) and can be connected via the second shift control element (B) to a sun gearwheel (SO) of the first planetary gearwheel assembly (RS) and/or via the fifth shift control element (E) to a web (ST) of the first planetary gearwheel assembly (RS). Alternatively, the sun gearwheel (SO) of the first planetary gearwheel assembly (RS) can be fixed via the third shift control element (C) and/or the web (ST) of the first planetary gearwheel assembly (RS) via the fourth shift control element (D) relative to the transmission housing (GG). The drive output shaft (AB) is connected to an annular gearwheel (HO) of the first planetary gearwheel assembly (RS) and to one of the webs (ST, ST) of the second or third planetary gearwheel assemblies (RS, RS). The second and fifth shift control elements (B, E) form a structural group, each with a disk pack (), and each with a servo device (), and a disk support (ZYLBE) common to the two shift control elements (B, E). The disk pack () of the second shift control element (B) has a larger diameter than the disk pack () of the fifth shift control element (E).

Multi-stage automatic transmission with three planetary gearwheel assemblies

The invention relates to an automatic gearbox, especially for a motor vehicle, comprising a drive shaft (), a driven shaft which is non-coaxially arranged on the drive shaft (), a planetary gearbox which is non coaxial in relation to the drive shaft (), a planetary gear which is coaxial in relation to the drive shaft () and which comprises at least one set of planet wheels () and at least one switch element () for the selective transmission of the speed of a driving motor of the drive shaft () on an output element of the planet gear. The automatic gearbox also comprises a chain drive () with constant transmission, whose drive wheel () is connected to the output element of the planetary gear and is coaxially arranged on the drive shaft (), and whose driven wheel () is actively connected to the driven shaft by means of a constant transmission. The chain drive () is adjacent to the housing wall () of the automatic gearbox directly in the axial direction thereof. The drive wheel () of the chain drive () at least partially engages with a switch element () in an axial manner on the side thereof which faces away from the gearbox housing wall ().

Automatic gearbox

A transmission with seven forward gears and one reverse gear comprising an input shaft, an output shaft, three planetary sets, seven rotatable shafts and six shifting elements. The input shaft is connected to the sun gear of the planetary set and can be connected to the fifth shaft, which is connected to the spider of the planetary set. The third shaft can be connected to the sixth shaft. The third shaft can be coupled to the housing and is connected to the spider of the first planetary set. The sixth shaft is connected to the internal gear of the second planetary set and the sun gear of the third planetary set and the seventh shaft is connected to the spider of the second planetary set. The fourth shaft is connected to the sun gear of the planetary set and the output shaft is connected to the internal gear of the planetary set.

Automatic transmission

A planetary gear carrier for a planetary gearset comprising a web for receiving planetary gear pins on which planetary gears of the planetary gearset are disposed, also comprises an oil baffle which axially abuts the web on the side of the web plate facing away from the planetary gears and forms a lubricating oil chamber in conjunction with the web for guiding an amount of lubricating oil into lubricating holes of the planetary gear pin. The web has a locking profile for a positive connection between the planetary gear carrier and a gearbox component, which is axially adjacent to the planetary gear carrier on the side of the web facing away from the planetary gears. The oil baffle comprises a device for axially securing the gear component abutting the planetary gear carrier to the locking profile of the web in a mounted state.
