An engine hood for a motor vehicle has an outer planking and an inner part. Between the outer planking and the inner part, a supporting part is arranged, which reinforces the outer planking. In order to reduce the manufacturing costs for an engine hood while maintaining a favorable delay pattern in the event of a head impact, the supporting part has supporting elements which, in the event of an essentially vertical admission of force, permit a displacement of the outer planking relative to the inner part until the supporting part rests with its predominant surface against the inner part.

Engine hood for a motor vehicle

A rear air guiding device is disposed in a region of a roof rear edge on a tailgate provided with a rear window. An upper approach flow surface of the air guiding device forms an extension of the roof upper side mounted in front thereof, and the air guiding device protrudes over an upper border region of the rear window. In order to reduce the outlay on components and installation and also the weight of the air guiding device, it is provided that the latter is composed of a front part which is integrated in the tailgate and of a rear part which adjoins the front part such that their outer skins are flush and is connected to the front part.

Rear air guiding device for a motor vehicle

A multipart sun roof for a motor vehicle is proposed which comprises a first roof section which can be moved at an angle and at least a second and a third roof section that can be longitudinally displaced in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle for positioned closing and releasing of a roof opening. Adjacent to these movable roof sections, a permanently mounted fourth roof section is provided, wherein the roof sections which can be moved longitudinally are arranged in guide rails and their displacement is controlled by means of control, displacement, and operating elements.

Multipart sun roof for a motor vehicle

A roof for a motor vehicle with a stationary, continuous roof element, particularly with at least one movable roof section, which is held movably on a guide rail and the guide rail is connected with a roof pillar and sealed with respect to the latter. The guide rail of the roof or of a roof module in each case is disposed on the inside of the side roof pillar forming the boundary of a roof opening and is connected with the latter. In a recessed channel, longitudinally extending between the side roof spar and the guide rail, a holding rail for a roof-transporting system is disposed.

Roof for a vehicle

A folding top for a vehicle, particularly a passenger car, consists of a folding top structure and of a folding top covering, the folding top structure including a rigid substantially plate shaped folding top section which extends adjacent to the windshield frame. The plate-shaped folding top section is supported on the adjoining folding top section by way of B-column control arms, which are constructed in one piece. For linking of the dimensionally stable folding top section adjacent to each B-column control arm, a main control arm is arranged whose one end is pivotably connected to the forward folding top section and whose other end is pivotably connected to a lower control lever, each lower control lever connecting the B-column control arm with a main hoop which spans the passenger compartment in a curved manner and is situated behind it.

Folding top of a vehicle

A folding top for passenger car vehicles is disclosed which can be displaced from a vehicle top closed position into a rearside deposited position and is composed of a supporting folding top structure and a folding top covering interacting therewith. The folding top structure includes a dimensionally stable folding top section which, in the closed position, is arranged adjacent to a windshield frame and can be displaced into the vehicle rear area in such a manner that the outer boundary surface of the dimensionally stable folding top section facing away from the passenger compartment is always directed upwards during the whole adjustment movement. The linking of the folding top covering to the longitudinal sides is designed in such a manner that, in addition to a smooth opening and closing of the folding top, tolerances of the folding top covering can be compensated and an overstretching of the folding top covering during the opening and closing is avoided. It is provided that the folding top covering, on the vehicle longitudinal sides, is fastened to the dimensionally stable folding top section and is fastened on a main hoop, whereas the folding top covering rests, without being fastened, against a B-column of the folding top structure disposed in-between and is pulled by means of a tension rope and a fabric control in a defined manner into a receiving device provided on the B-column.

Folding top for vehicles

A folding top for vehicles, particularly passenger cars, is composed of a folding top structure and a folding top covering, the folding top covering and sealing strips being held in position on lateral frame parts of the folding top structure. So that, in the case of a folding top, the mounting expenditures for changing the folding top covering are reduced and, on the other hand, the surrounding noises in the driving operation which occur at the lateral frame parts are minimized, it is provided that the linkages for the folding top covering and for the sealing strips are provided separately and spaced away from one another on the lateral frame parts. Wall sections of the lateral frame parts extend between the two spaced linkages and are not covered by the folding top covering and form the shell of the vehicle body. The end area of the wall sections facing the folding top covering is constructed such that, together with the adjoining folding top covering, it forms a rain groove.

Folding top for vehicles, particularly passenger cars

An actuating device for a motor vehicle top and a top receptacle cover comprises an actuating lever and a displacement device. By way of the actuating lever which can be pivoted from the driver's seat, the top receptacle cover can be moved between a closed position and an open position and the top between a second operating position and a third operating position. To further improve such an actuating device so that with a simple construction it functions well, avoids errors in manipulation and is easily manipulated, the actuating lever is pivoted in a first direction such that the top receptacle cover is moved from a closed position into an opened position. Consequently, a first coupling element, which is in operative connection with the displacement device, takes up a receiving position in which a second coupling element provided on the top can engage the first coupling element when the top is in the second operating position. By renewed pivoting of the actuating lever in a second, reverse direction, the top receptacle cover and the top are moved downwardly together into the closed position and the third operating position by the engaged coupling.
