A motor vehicle seat fitting () includes a first fitting part () and a relatively rotatable second fitting part (), which are connected to each other via a gear unit or can be locked. A third fitting part () is mounted on a bearing ring () in a pivotal manner about an axis (A) relative to the first fitting part. The bearing ring is fixed to the first fitting part. The third fitting part () can be locked with the first fitting part or a component rigidly connected thereto. A pawl () is mounted on the third fitting part in a first hinge point (D). The bearing ring () has multiple run-on cams () which interact with multiple elevations () of the third fitting part. A free clearance, in the radial direction between the bearing ring () and the third fitting part, is minimized when the pawl () is locked.

A detent fitting for a motor vehicle seat includes a first fitting part () and a relatively rotatable second fitting part () and catches () guided by one fitting part between a locked state and an unlocked state to lock the detent fitting upon interacting with a gear ring of another fitting part. A third fitting part () is pivotably mounted and is lockable with a detent plate () fixed to the first fitting part or with the first fitting part by a pawl () which is mounted in a hinge point on the third fitting part. A fitting system () for a vehicle seat () includes a first fitting (), a second fitting (), a first transmission element () acting between the two fittings (), a free-pivoting device () assigned to the second fitting (), a first operating element for adjusting the inclination, with the actuation thereof the two fittings () being unlocked by using the first transmission element (), and a second operating element for free pivoting. With the actuation of the second operating element, the first fitting () and the free-pivoting device () are unlocked. A second transmission element () is arranged between the two fittings () and mounted on the fittings (), and which&#x2014;independently of the first transmission element ()&#x2014;acts between the free-pivoting device () and the first fitting ().

An arrangement for a vehicle seat includes an inner element (), an outer element (), which has an opening () having an edge () and receives the inner element (), and a weld seam () which connects the outer element () to the inner element (). The edge () of the opening of the outer element () is interspaced from the inner element () over the largest part of its circumference and defines a radial gap (G) having a defined maximum width, the weld seam () being introduced into the gap (G).

A fitting () for a vehicle seat, particularly for a motor vehicle seat, is provided with a first fitting part () fixed to a seat part, a second fitting part () that can be rotated between a plurality of usage positions relative to the first fitting part () for setting the tilt of the back () of the vehicle seat () and a locking element () fixedly connected particularly to the second fitting part (). A third fitting part () is fixed to the back that can be locked by the locking element () and may be pivoted about an axis (A) relative to the second fitting part () for centered free pivoting of the back (). A stop () limits the pivot motion of the third fitting part () on one side. The stop includes at least one axially protruding first stop cam () that is formed on the third fitting part () and at least one axially protruding second stop cam () that is formed on the locking element (). The cams limit the pivot motion of the third fitting part () by working together as the stop ().

In the case of a fitting () for a vehicle seat, in particular for a motor vehicle seat, having a first fitting part (), a second fitting part () in geared connection with the first fitting part (), and a rotatably mounted eccentric () driven by a driver () to cause relative rolling between the first fitting part () and the second fitting part (), the first fitting part () and the second fitting part () together form a disc-shaped unit held together by a clamping ring (), and a third fitting part () can be both pivoted relative to the first fitting part () and locked with respect to the first fitting part ().

In a fitting () for a vehicle seat, in particular for a motor vehicle seat, having two by themselves fully functional, adjacent single fittings () defining two parallel axes (A, B), the single fittings () are substantially axially aligned with respect to each other along the common first axis (A).

In a fitting () for a vehicle seat, in particular for a motor vehicle seat, having a first fitting part () and a second fitting part () that is mounted on the first fitting part () and that can be rotated relative to the latter around a central axis (A), and having also a clasping ring () that is connected to the first fitting part () and that engages over the second fitting part () in order to secure it axially, an intermediate ring () is arranged between the clasping ring () and the second fitting part ().

In the case of a detent fitting () for a vehicle seat, in particular for a motor vehicle seat, with a first fitting part (), a second fitting part () which is movable relative to the first fitting part (), at least one locking element () which interacts with the first fitting part () and is guided by the second fitting part (), an eccentric () which acts on the locking element () and can be rotated about an axis (A), and at least one spiral-shaped spring () which acts upon the eccentric (), the spring () encircles the axis (A).
