A pipe alignment apparatus to align a pair of adjacent pipe ends together. The apparatus includes a first pair of arcuate frames joined together to move between an open position and a closed position. A second pair of arcuate frames joined together moves between an open position and closed position. A plurality of jackscrews is provided on the first pair of arcuate frames and on the second pair of arcuate frames. A plurality of adjustable turnbuckles extends between the first pair of frames and the second pair of frames.

Pipe alignment system

A hydraulic chain clamp apparatus for pipe sleeves for a pipe. The apparatus includes a clamping chain circumnavigating the sleeves and the pipe, the chain having a first end and an opposed second end. The apparatus includes a housing block with a chain lock mechanism securing the first end of the chain to the housing block. A hydraulic cylinder mechanism is connected to the housing block. The hydraulic cylinder mechanism is attached to the second end of the chain and is adapted to move the chain between a tightened, closed position and a loose, open position.

Hydraulic chain clamp apparatus for pipe repair sleeves

A field portable pipe-mounted pipe cutting system with integral controls. The system includes a torch carriage assembly having a torch for cutting a cylindrical pipe. A saddle and cap ring assembly is secured to the pipe. A ring gear engages the saddle and cap ring. At least one drive gear engages the ring gear. A drive gear step motor rotates the drive gear. A motion control module controls movement of the step drive motor. The lead screw assembly moves the torch carriage assembly longitudinally parallel to an axis of the pipe. A lead screw step drive motor drives the lead screw assembly and a motion control module controls movement of the lead screw step drive motor.

Field portable pipe-mounted pipe cutting system with integral controls

A torch carriage assembly for use in bevel cutting a pipe has a ring gear which rotates concentrically about the pipe longitudinal axis. A shaft extending perpendicularly from the ring gear carries a torch arm block assembly which positions the cutting torch in relation to the pipe. A bracket is adaptable between a first configuration prohibiting and a second configuration permitting rotation of the shaft about its longitudinal axis for bevel cutting round pipes and out-of-round pipes, respectively. In the second configuration, a guide wheel assembly mounted on the shaft traces the surface of the pipe. A tension assembly continually urges the guide wheel assembly into contact with the surface of the pipe so that the angular position of the torch arm block assembly accurately reflects the out-of-round conditions of the pipe.
