The second body portion is slidable along the first longitudinal axis.

Devices, systems, and methods for locating a position in a body

Transcranial magnetic stimulation may be delivered to a subject based on a treatment plan. This treatment plan is generated using connectivity-image guidance to identify one or more optimal locations to stimulate based on network properties. In turn, a cortical column cosine principle may be applied to identify one or more particular subject locations at which to deliver TMS to the subject to the optimal locations.

System, apparatus and methods for image-guided, robotically delivered transcranial magnetic stimulation (irTMS) treatment

Disclosed are apparatus and methods for computer-aided, robotic delivery of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) using biologically derived feedback to establish coil position relative to brain functional regions. The apparatus includes a TMS coil mounted to a robotic member. The position of the stimulating coil can be automatically optimized using the TMS-induced bio-responses of various types.

Disclosed are apparatus and methods for delivery of transcranial magnetic stimulation. The apparatus includes a TMS coil which when energized generates an electric field substantially parallel to a long axis of the coil and substantially normal to a surface of the coil. Furthermore disclosed an apparatus for delivery of TMS in which a coil is adapted to a robotic member for computer-aided control and delivery. Further disclosed are methods of TMS planning and delivery in which subject images are utilized to plan, position and orient the TMS coil for precise delivery. Disclosed also are TMS coils having unique designs to better focus and direct magnetic stimulation.

Apparatus and methods for delivery of transcranial magnetic stimulation

Steric features inherent in the three dimensional disposition of atoms in molecules can be represented as multiplets using a defined set of steric descriptors. The resulting multiplets can be encoded in a compressed form of bitstring known as a bitmap. Such bitmaps can be generated in compressed form and used to compare individual conformers or ensembles of conformers of molecules to each other without decompression. Such comparisons are useful in molecular similarity analysis, in molecular diversity analysis, in database searching, and in conformational analysis.

Using magnetic resonance imaging to directly map neuronal activity

A harmonica is provided with three diatonic reed harps vertically aligned in a single housing. The three diatonic reed harps are in communication with a central mouthpiece. The reed harps are in different keys. Two movable sliders block the air channel to two of the three reed harps at any one time. The sliders are caused to move to blocking or unblocking positions through the actuation of a pair of buttons. The first button and the second button engage and disengage elongated slide members which are aligned in horizontal relation with each of the three diatonic reeds, either blocking or unblocking the air passage therethrough, thus preventing their ability to make sound. Through manipulation of the pair of buttons, the user may select any one of three harps to play. When both buttons are disengaged, the central harp is open, and the top and bottom harps are blocked. When the front button is engaged, the lower harp is open, and the top and middle harps are blocked. When the rear button is engaged, the top harp is open, and the middle and bottom harps are blocked. This arrangement permits the performer to play in any one of three keys during a performance while employing a single harmonica.
