The present invention refers to an articulated bed arrangement having a patient support platformcomprising at least a head section, a seat sectionand a foot sectionconnected to each other in an articulated manner so that the bed arrangement is convertible at least from a bed configuration to a chair configuration. The platform has a length and a width whereupon the platform is projecting an area onto the floor when said sections are horizontally arranged. The bed arrangement is further provided with a leg arrangement comprising four legsthat are pivotable in the vertical direction in relation to the longitudinal direction of the platform about their articulated connection pointsto the platform in order to change the height from the floor to the surface of the platform. Each leg is provided so that said leg is positioned outside said projected area.

A drive unit for power control of electric motors comprises a circuit board ( ) with surface leads and a number of logic components as well as power controlling semi-conductors ( ), and two or more power distribution bars ( ) which extend along the circuit board ( ) and are connected to a power source and/or one or more motor connections. Each one of the power distribution bars ( ) is stamped from a flexible thin sheet metal and is folded along a longitudinal line ( ) into two parallel sections ( ). Each one of the connector pins ( ) is substantially Z-shaped for providing an increased flexibility and for forming together with a second one ( ) of the two sections ( ) a fixing device for a ferrite ring element ( ).
