A method for operating a network infrastructure-side network unit of a cell-based wireless communication network is provided. The method includes: receiving a scheduling request message for a sidelink channel in an unlicensed frequency range on an uplink channel by a roadside network unit, the scheduling request message indicating a size of the data available for transmission on the sidelink channel at the roadside network unit; ascertaining a scheduling grant message as a function of the size, the scheduling grant message including an assignment of a number of sidelink resources of the sidelink channel to the roadside network unit, and the assigned number of sidelink resources being sufficient to transmit the available data and additional data of other roadside network units; and transmitting the scheduling grant message to the roadside network unit on a downlink channel.

A method for operating a network infrastructure-side network unit of a cell-based wireless communication network includes: predicting a piece of cell-related occupancy information of sidelink resources of a sidelink channel in an unlicensed frequency range; receiving a scheduling request message from a roadside network unit for the sidelink channel on an uplink channel; ascertaining a scheduling grant message for the roadside network unit based on the predicted cell-related occupancy information, the scheduling grant message including an assignment of at least one sidelink resource of the sidelink channel to the roadside network unit; and sending the scheduling grant information to the roadside network unit on a downlink channel.

The disclosure relates to a method for serially transmitting a frame from a transmitter to at least one receiver by means of a bus line, as well as a subscriber station for a bus system. According to said method, stuff bits are inserted into the frame by the transmitter according to a predetermined rule in order to generate additional signal edges, and/or said stuff bits are removed again by the receiver when evaluating the frame, at least one item of information relating to a subsection of the frame additionally being added, and transmitted, outside of this subsection, and said subsection containing a predetermined sequence of bit values.
