An electromagnetic relay, in particular a motor vehicle relay, contains a magnet yoke, a relay coil, a hinged armature which is pivotable about an axis of rotation and on which a moving contact, as working or switchover contact, is retained relative to at least one fixed contact. A piezo actuator is provided, which keeps the working or switchover contact closed when the relay coil is de-energized as a result of the actuation of the piezo actuator.

Electromagnetic relay

A method for increasing the wear-resistance of a work piece involves connecting the work piece to a non-formable core material having a greater hardness than that of the work piece material. In order to improve the connection while simultaneously reducing the costs, the core material is connected in a form-fitting manner to the work piece by means of cold extrusion or hot extrusion of the work piece material.

Method for increasing the wear-resistance of a work piece

The invention relates to a method of producing a flat slide valve with incorporation of at least one inlet disk in a housing or in at least one element of a housing, wherein the inlet disk is joined to the housing or to at least one element of the housing by forcelocking, formlocking and/or bonding. The invention further provides a flat slide valve having at least one sealing disk, in which at least one of the sealing disks is incorporated into an element of the flat slide valve.

Method of producing flat slide valves

The invention relates to a composite body in which a ceramic component and a metal component are bonded to one another by internal soldering. The internal soldering is effected with soldering composition in a recess (2) within a component (1) of the one material in which there is arranged a component (3) of the other material which is shaped to fit accurately. The recess (2) is, at at least one end-face opening, surrounded by a chamfer (5) having an angle .phi. smaller than 35.degree. C., while the wetting angle .beta. between the soldering composition and the plane of the component surface in which the recess is located is smaller than 40.degree..

Internal soldering in metal/ceramic composites

A process is described for electrolessly depositing or electrodepositing a solder layer composed of copper and silver and having an overall composition of silver/copper of from 75:25 to 70:30 and a total layer thickness of 15 to 100 .mu.m on a metallized ceramic. In this process, copper layers and silver layers are deposited alternately on the metallized ceramic. The number of layers is at least 3 and the individual layer thickness is 5 to 10 .mu.m.

Metal-ceramic joint

A method for joining a ceramic component to a metal component by brazing where the outer edge of the joining surface on the ceramic component (1) is provided with a chamfer (3) with a chamfer angle (.alpha.) of 15.degree.-45.degree.. The chamfer (3) has an edge radius of .ltoreq.0.3 mm and its minimum height (H) is to be 5-30% of the wall thickness (W) of the ceramic component (1). The joining surface, including its chamfer, is provided with a metallizing layer.

Method of joining a ceramic component to a metal component

A surge voltage protector having a tubular ceramic part as an insulator, and having metal electrodes soldered onto the end faces thereof. Each electrode is electrically connected in each case to an ignition aid applied at least to the inside wall of the ceramic part. The inside edges of the surfaces joining the ceramic part to the electrodes are each provided with a chamfer whose chamfer angle is 15.degree. to 60.degree. relative to the plane of the joining surfaces. The width projected onto the plane of the joining surface is 0.05 to 0.4 mm.
