Disclosed is a method for marking film-type dosage forms, comprising at least the positioning of a film-type dosage form between two layers of a sealable packaging material, the sectional heat-sealing of the two layers of the sealable packaging material so as to obtain an edge-sealed bag containing the film-type dosage form, and the blind-embossing of the film-type dosage form contained in the edge-sealed bag through at least one of the two layers of packaging material of the edge-sealed bag.

Method of marking film-like dosage forms

A method for the multi-track tailoring of transdermal therapeutic patches having at least a one-layer, adhesive reservoir foil containing an active ingredient, which is disposed between an adhesive back foil and a removable protective foil. The reservoir foils are applied per track with their adhesive layers on a transport element moving discontinuously in the longitudinal direction of the reservoir foils. After separating sections of the size of a patch or band aid the same are transferred to a further transport element that is moved continuously for depositing the same thereon in spaced relationship. The present invention provides a method for multi-track tailoring, wherein web-shaped reservoir foils, which can be unwound from rolls, may be utilized without producing any waste containing the active ingredient.

Method for the multi-track tailoring of transdermal therapeutic patches

A process for introducing a plurality of segregated sheet-like administration forms into a dispenser under formation of a multilayered stack for individually dosable removal, with sheet-like tapes wound-up on rolls being present as starting material, utilizes the following steps. In a first step, a number of sheet-like layers of said tapes, which number corresponds to the stack, is simultaneously drawn from a plurality of rolls. In a further step, the individual tapes are united, using guide means, to form a multilayered strand, which in yet another step, is drawn forward to a cutting station where one length of stack is severed at a time, and wherein a length segment of the multilayered strand corresponding to the stack is substantially in the dispenser prior to being severed from a remainder of the multilayered strand by the cutting device.

Method and device for dispensing adhesive laminate segments

The invention relates to a process for producing hot-seal packs, in particular for transdermal therapeutic systems, by welding to one another, at predetermined linear regions and at polymer layers facing towards one another, two laps of continuous pack material composed of two or more layers. To this end, one (or two) sealing tool(s) are used to bring the pack material into contact with pressure and heat. To improve the quality of the welded seams without altering the cycle rate, according to the invention the sealing time is doubled and the temperature of the sealing tool(s) ( ) is reduced so that there is a considerable reduction in the temperature reached within the pack material ( ), this temperature then being only slightly above the melting point of the polymer used. An example of a sealing tool ( ) is given (FIG. ).

A primary packaging unit for film-like or wafer-like administration forms for oral application with an off-cut of an upper web of packaging material and of an lower web of packaging material is characterized in that a plurality of dosage units of a film-like or wafer-like administration form, individually sealed in flat compartments formed without cold or hot forming of the packaging material and spaced at a distance to one another, are present in a primary packaging unit, and there are perforations between the compartments which enable the separation of individual compartments, if necessary.

Primary packaging unit for film-like or oblate-like administered shapes

The invention relates to a method for dispensing flat forms, such as labels, stickers, transdermal therapeutic systems, flat medicaments for oral application, etc, in a controlled manner. According to said method, the outer contour of the flat form ( ) is punched out from a strip-shaped starting material and connecting bridges ( ) hold the flat form ( ) and the edge of the punched layer together. These connecting bridges ( ) break when the flat forms are dispensed via a deflector edge ( ). The inventive method can be advantageously used for packing individual flat forms in primary packaging. The invention also relates to a specialised punching device used in the method.
