A hearing aid device comprising a microphone, a processing unit and a receiver for compensating for a hearing loss in the auditory system of a human is disclosed. The hearing aid device is configured with a microphone inlet assembly which is optimized with regards to maintenance of the hearing aid and improved sound performance. That is, the microphone inlet assembly comprises an inlet element attached to a PCB and further configured to connect with a sound inlet structure.

A hearing aid comprising a receiver assembly is disclosed. The receiver assembly includes a housing adapted to accommodate receivers of different geometry and/or size and/or mechanical dimensions and suspension member arranged in the housing. The suspension member comprises vibration dampers protruding from an outer periphery of the suspension member and a plurality of spacers provided at an inner periphery of the suspension member. The plurality of spacers is positioned to arrange and fix one or more cushions or enclosed structures in predefined grooves formed by adjacent spacers in the space between the receiver and the suspension member.

A behind the ear hearing aid is provided with a casing part comprising electronics adapted for signal processing where the casing is adapted for placing behind the ear of a user and a speaker is provided in or near the ear canal and leads are arranged between the speaker and the casing part. A plug and socket electrical and mechanical interconnection is arranged between the leads and the electronics inside the casing and the mutual motion between the plug and socket parts for establishing connection is in a direction essentially off axis to the axis of the leads at the casing part.

A hearing aid with a child-proof battery compartment includes a shell and a battery door mounted in the shell for rotational movement between an open position and a closed position. A latch mechanism between a pivotal latch of the battery door and a corresponding arrest part is at an internal side of an arrest wall. The battery door in the closed position includes external wall parts facing away from the hearing aid and all of the external wall parts are flush with or recessed with respect to adjacent wall parts of the hearing aid shell, such that an opening force cannot be applied to the external wall parts. The arrest wall includes a narrow gap opening which grants access to the pivotal latch and allows an opening force to be applied to the pivotal latch through the opening to release the battery door.

Switching device for hearing aid, whereby a hearing aid casing part is adapted for placement above and behind the ear lobe and encloses a battery and a signal processing and amplifier device operable to provide an amplified audio signal to the user perceivable as sound wherein further the switching device comprises a base section and a manually operable rigid pivot element which has a two spaced apart pressure receiving parts and a pivotal axis placed between the two pressure receiving parts, whereby a cantilever and indexing ladder is provided between the base section and the rigid pivot element operable to allow the rigid pivot element to assume 2, 3 or more stable positions.
