An electric motor for a rail vehicle has a rotational speed sensor. The rotational speed sensor is mounted to an end shield of the electric motor. A sensor wheel for the rotational speed sensor is mounted to a clutch of the electric motor.

Running gear for a rail vehicle includes a first drive unit, a running gear frame and a wheelset, wherein the first drive unit is supported via a first spring device and a second spring device on a first wheelset bearing housing or on a first swing arm and via a third spring device and a fourth spring device on a second wheelset bearing housing or on a second swing arm, where a first damper device, arranged between the first wheelset bearing housing or the first swing arm and the drive unit, is advantageously connected in parallel with the first spring device, the second spring device, the third spring device and the fourth spring device, where the damping device has a damper and, connected in series therewith, a first stop buffer and a second stop buffer to achieve a space-saving drive bearing having effective suspension and damping.

Running gear for a rail vehicle

A rotor tube for an electric machine of a vehicle includes an outer tube and first and second coupling sections coupled to the outer tube at opposite end regions of the outer tube relative to a longitudinal axis of the rotor tube. First and second hubs are coupled to the outer tube at the opposite end regions of the outer tube relative to the longitudinal axis of the rotor tube. A ventilation element is coupled to the outer tube. An inner tube is disposed within the outer tube relative to the longitudinal axis of the rotor tube such that the outer tube surrounds the inner tube. At least two components selected from the first coupling section, second coupling section, first hub, second hub, outer tube, ventilation element and inner tube are formed in one piece as a cast component.

Rotor tube for an electric machine of a vehicle

An arrangement for a rail vehicle has an electric hollow-shaft motor with a hollow rotor and a wheelset shaft that runs through the hollow rotor. The rotor is separated from the wheelset shaft at least in certain sections by a radial air gap which ensures a mechanical clearance between the wheelset shaft and the rotor. A protective material is arranged in the region of the radial air gap between the rotor and the wheelset shaft. The protective material, in the event of failure of a motor fastening of the hollow-shaft motor and subsequent support of the rotor on the wheelset shaft, separates the rotor from the wheelset shaft. The protective material is softer than the material of the wheelset shaft and softer than at least one material of the rotor.

Arrangement for a rail vehicle

A bogie of a rail vehicle has at least one wheelset with two oppositely situated wheels that are rigidly connected to one another, a wheelset bearing arrangement of the wheelset within the two wheels, a traction motor which directly drives the wheelset, and an aerodynamic paneling enclosure of the bogie. The traction motor is a permanently excited synchronous motor with liquid cooling.
