Systems, methods, and computer programmable products are described herein for situational handling using a virtual reality application. A procurement system receives an order including one or more goods and a situation. A cloud platform receives sensor data of a package containing the one or more goods. A scanner scans the package and a storage location of the package. The procurement system provides the storage location to an virtual reality (VR) application for display and a notification of the situation once it occurs.

Virtual reality for situational handling

A system includes a suite of business applications and an add-on module coupled to the suite of business applications. The add-on module is configured with Commerce eXtensible Markup Language (cXML) and is operable to enable the suite of business applications to communicate with a network using cXML and a direct web service call to the network. The network is configured to operate using cXML. The direct web service call uses no middleware between the suite of business applications and the network.

System for business suite and network integration

An electronic procurement system may enable users, such as professional purchasers for an enterprise, to create new business partners for the enterprise using information in business partner directories hosted by external service providers. The electronic procurement system and external service providers may use a partner interface protocol to exchange partner information. The new business partner may be created during a business process using the partner information.

Interface for generating business partners

An enterprise system may include a server including an integration module that enables applications at the server to integrate web services, e.g., by providing links to the external web service. Each application is associated with one or more business types in a table at the server. The integration module, which may be an API, sends a list of external web services of a type (or types) associated with an application when a user at a client computer in the enterprise system opens that application. The integration module may also generate a URL call and redirect the user's browser to an external web service when the user selects that external web service.

Web service integration

A computer-based system that provides services for searching and displaying catalog items. The system enables a user to pass a request to one or more catalog servers and display aggregated results in a user interface. Furthermore, the system enables the user to select one or more items from the user interface and transfer the one or more items to a procurement system for additional processing.
