The invention relates to a method for operating a driving simulator having the following steps: detecting a braking request in the driving simulator, in particular on the basis of actuation of a brake actuator; converting the detected braking request into at least one braking signal suitable for characterising the braking request; transmitting the at least one braking signal from the driving stimulator to a test bench on which are mounted at least part of a drivetrain with at least one axle section of a vehicle, in particular an axle half, and at least one brake associated with the at least one axle section; rotating the at least one axle section at a wheel speed which corresponds to a predefined speed of the vehicle; actuating the at least one brake of the vehicle on the basis of the at least one braking signal; setting a predefined torque or a predefined wheel speed of at least one axle section of the at least one dynamometer on the basis of properties of at least one component of the vehicle, in particular of the drivetrain, of the vehicle and/or of the entire vehicle, wherein the properties are at least partially simulated; detecting the actual wheel speed at a predefined torque or the actual torque at a predefined wheel speed; and outputting the actual wheel speed or the actual torque to the driving simulator.

Method for operating a driving simulator

The invention relates to a system comprising a plurality of first sensors to measure parameters characterizing a vehicle operating state; a second sensor to measure a parameter characterizing an emission of an fuel processing apparatus; a control device to measure repeatedly over a predefined time period and to determine a vehicle operating state based on a first data set with measured values from the plurality of first sensors and predefined parameter ranges describing a predefined vehicle operating state; an allocation device to allocate a second data set comprising measured values from the second sensor to the predefined vehicle operating state; and an evaluation device to determine a characteristic value for assessing or optimizing the operating behavior of the vehicle based on the vehicle operating state and the second data set, wherein the characteristic value characterizes an energy efficiency of the vehicle or an emission behavior of the fuel processing apparatus.

System and method for analyzing the energy efficiency of a motor vehicle, in particular of an apparatus of the motor vehicle

A method for judging the drivability of vehicles including acquiring drivability-relevant physical data during the driving operation of the vehicle; checking the data for the presence of trigger conditions which indicate the existence of specific driving states; if a specific driving state exists, calculating at least one local evaluation, which is a judgment of an evaluation criterion relevant for the driving state; and calculating an overall evaluation for the acquired driving state. An increase in precision may be achieved with repeated occurrence of identical driving states, a correction variable is calculated for the evaluations, which is a function of the differences in the behavior of the vehicle upon identical driving states, and a corrected evaluation is calculated in which this correction variable is taken into consideration.

Method for judging the drivability of vehicles

The invention relates to a method for simulating the driving behavior of vehicles on a test stand in which the engine of the vehicle is coupled on the test stand to an electronically controllable braking apparatus and a simulation model calculates simulation values of variables which are representative of the driving state of the vehicle in that the reaction of the vehicle to the behavior of the engine and the values of the variables as determined immediately prior thereto are calculated, with at least the vehicle speed and the slip occurring in the driving wheels being calculated as variables. An improved calculation can be achieved in such a way that for controlling the braking apparatus a virtual vehicle speed is used which is changed by a corrective value which depends on the slip.

Method for simulating the driving behavior of vehicles

The invention relates to a method for simulating the driving behavior of vehicles on a test stand in which the engine of the vehicle is coupled on the test stand to an electronically controllable braking apparatus and a first simulation model calculates simulation values of variables which are representative of the driving state of the vehicle in that the reaction of the vehicle to the behavior of the engine and the values of the variables as determined immediately prior thereto are calculated, with at least one evaluation variable w being calculated on the basis of the values measured on the test stand for measurable variables and engine torque M and the values calculated therefrom with the simulation model for non-measurable variables. An improved simulation is achieved in such a way that in a further simulation model higher-frequency changes are calculated from variables which are measurable per se and are considered in the calculation of the evaluation variable by superimposing with the actual measured values or that in the simulation model higher-frequency changes are calculated from variables which are measurable per se and are considered in the calculation of the evaluation variable w by superimposing with the actual measured values.
