A hydrostatic traction drive includes a hydrostatic pump and a hydrostatic motor connected to each other in an open circuit. One of the pump and motor is pressure-regulated while the other is torque-controlled or regulated in terms of pivot angle. A braking mode is therefore possible in which the secondary-side braking torque can be adapted to the permissible primary-side supporting torque of a primary machine coupled to the pump. To further increase the braking power, even in a high rotational phase of the primary machine, the permissible drag torque thereof can be temporarily exceeded. To further increase the braking power and therefore to have high-performance braking during operation, further means for converting energy can be provided in order to adjust a secondary-side braking torque and a primary-side supporting torque independently of each other.

A control arrangement for an arrangement of hydraulically couplable machines has an interface for hydraulic coupling of the machines, and a hydraulic machine for supplying pressure medium to at least one hydraulic consumer of the machines in accordance with requirements. An electronic control device is configured, in accordance with a load of the consumer, to generate an electronic control signal, which can be converted by a transducer of the control arrangement into a hydraulic control signal, in accordance with which the hydraulic machine can be operated.

A hydrostatic transmission for a traction drive includes a first hydraulic machine that is coupled to a drive machine and that has an adjustable displacement volume and a second hydraulic machine that is fluidically connected to the first hydraulic machine and that is coupled to a drive output of the traction drive. At the first hydraulic machine, a control pressure acts in the direction of an enlargement of its displacement volume and a working pressure of the second hydraulic machine acts in the opposite direction. The hydrostatic transmission further includes a control device that varies the control pressure to influence a torque of the second hydraulic machine. The control device stores a characteristic map by which a setpoint control pressure is determined as a function of a setpoint torque and a displacement volume of the second hydraulic machine so as to regulate the torque of the second hydraulic machine.

Hydrostatic transmission, traction drive having the transmission, and method for controlling the transmission

A hydraulic arrangement includes at least one pressure unit connected to a hydraulic machine that is operable as a pump and a safety device for the pressure unit. The safety device includes pressure sensors configured to detect a pressure in the pressure unit and an electronic control unit that is connected to the pressure sensors. A delivery volume pumped by the hydraulic machine is configured to be controlled via the control unit.

Hydraulic arrangement

An apparatus for energy recovery is provided. The apparatus comprises a hydrostatic machine and at least one hydraulic storage component. The hydraulic storage component is connected to the hydrostatic machine via a working line. A valve device is provided for influencing the volumetric flow in the working line between the hydraulic storage component and the hydrostatic machine. The valve device comprises a brake pressure regulating valve unit with a valve and a pilot valve unit which acts on the valve with a control pressure. The invention also relates to a method for controlling the apparatus for energy recovery. In order to store released energy, a required braking torque is determined by a control electronics system. The volume from the hydrostatic piston machine into the working line is increased and the pilot valve is actuated by the control electronics system such that the valve is moved towards its open position.

Apparatus and method for energy recovery

A method of controlling a hydrostatic drive is provided. The hydrostatic drive has a hydraulic pump and a hydraulic engine. The hydrostatic drive further has a first and a second hydraulic reservoir for storing and recuperating energy. Pressure energy is stored in the first reservoir. For the purpose of recuperating the pressure energy stored in the first reservoir, the first reservoir is connected to a suction side of the hydraulic pump. A downstream working line of the hydraulic engine is connected to the second reservoir. In addition, the downstream working-line connection of the hydraulic engine is disconnected from the suction side of the hydraulic pump.
