In a device for moving a plurality of pressure rollers relative to respective counter rollers in a printing machine, it is possible to provide a simple design of this device, wherein, in a non-energy mode, the pressure rollers are arranged in a non-contact position. For this purpose, the device includes a plurality of movably supported pressure roller carriers that each support one pressure roller, the pressure roller carriers being movable between a contact position and a non-contact position. In this arrangement, each of the pressure roller carriers is biased in the direction of the contact position via a biasing unit. Furthermore, at least one actuation element is provided, the actuation element connecting at least two pressure roller carriers to a shared actuation device.

A device for manual replacement and transport of a roller ( ) of a copying machine, for example, which makes it easier and safer for service, replacement and transport of hot, heavy and large rollers. There is provided a protective container ( ) which can be slipped over a roller ( ), which has been released in the machine, and its carrying apparatus. The roller ( ) can be removed from the bearing points (L , L ) of the machine with the protective container ( ) using its carrying apparatus which project out of the protective container, and can be inserted into the bearing points. Carrying handles for the carrying apparatus, enable the roller to be guided into slotted openings and, can be radially inserted into bearing points, and can be removed from them. A transport container ( ) into which the protective container ( ) provided with the roller ( ) can be manually inserted and removed.

Device for manual replacement and transport of the roller of a copying machine or an electrophotographic printer

A carrier (2) of an apparatus (1) is pivotably mounted on a shaft (6) and can be moved by means of a stepper motor (34) via a cable (40). Apparatus (1) is positioned above tray surface (29) of storage container (28) and has a motor-driven impeller (27) and motor-driven separating fingers (25, 26). Driving motors (7 and 13, respectively) and their appropriate drawing means (12 and 20, 24 respectively) for impeller (27) and for separating fingers (25, 26) respectively are arranged on carrier (2). The sheets are individually arranged on top of one another to form a stack on tray surface (29) and are aligned by impeller (27) on front stopping edge (41), while separating fingers (25, 26) serve to temporarily retain subsequently arriving sheets as long as the finished stack of sheets still lies on tray surface (29). Apparatus (1) is guided via a device for measuring the height of the stack of sheets into a position with respect to the upper side of the stack such that impeller (27) and separating fingers (25, 26) are always correctly positioned for operation with respect to the upper side of the stack whatever the height of the stack. The apparatus can also be moved by stepper motor (24) into raised positions regardless of the height of the stack of sheets.
