An anatomical manometry catheter system, comprising a plurality of balloons on the distal end and being configured to be inflatable and/or deflatable. The system includes a connector assembly coaxially aligned with the catheter assembly, the connector assembly being connectable to the proximal end of the catheter. The connector assembly may have a connector interface connected to the proximal end of the catheter. The connector assembly may include a manifold comprising a plurality of channels configured to deliver the pressure transmission medium therethrough toward a respective catheter lumen for inflating one or more balloons. The connector assembly may include a charging mechanism fluidly coupled to the catheter that facilitates inflating each balloon of the plurality of balloons by a common actuating mechanism so as to simultaneously charge each balloon of the plurality of balloons.

Multi-channel catheter connection for anatomical manometry

A multifunctional catheter probe for carrying out intracorporal measurements, including a multiluminal flexible tubing divided into sections and joined together by coupling pieces and forming a multifunctional catheter probe. Each coupling piece has a central body with a central feed lumen lead-through and measurement lumen lead-throughs which are arranged around. The coupling is accomplished with suitable attachment nipples to the lumens of the flexible tube sections. A measurement lumen passage closed in the passage has a radial opening in or on which different measuring devices for the manometric or electro-sensory are attached.

Multifunctional catheter probe

The invention relates to a multi-pole plug unit comprising a plug and a socket. The plug has a polygonal cross section, a longitudinal groove running in the region of a longitudinal edge, which longitudinal groove is crossed by a large number of transverse grooves with a predetermined grid pattern. A printed circuit board is inserted in the longitudinal groove, which printed circuit board has contact pads at certain points of the transverse grooves. The socket has contact wires or pins, which run transversely with respect to the longitudinal directions, to come to lie in the transverse grooves owing to the rotation of the plug and therefore come into touching contact with the contact faces and, at the same time, bring about translatory locking of the plug in the socket.
