A drilling chuck for operation on an impact drilling spindle, which can be subjected to tangential loading, with a chuck body, which is connected or connectable to the impact drilling spindle in which jaw guides are formed, which run inclined to the chuck axis in which jaw guides and clamping jaws are guided, which can be adjusted by a threaded ring, with a clamping sleeve, which can be coupled in a torque-transmitting manner to the threaded ring, and with a locking device, which is adjustable between a release configuration, which enables a relative rotation of the threaded ring with respect to the chuck body and a locking configuration, which obstructs or prevents this relative rotation. The locking device is formed from a locking sleeve, which is mounted essentially rotationally fixed but axially displaceable with respect to the chuck body, which comprises at least one locking member.

Drilling chuck

A drilling chuck for operation on an impact drilling spindle, which can be subjected to tangential loading, with a chuck body, which is connected or connectable to the impact drilling spindle in which jaw guides are formed, which are arranged inclined to the chuck axis, in which clamping jaws are guided which can be adjusted by means of a threaded ring, with a clamping sleeve, which is coupled in a torque-transmitting manner to the threaded ring, and with a locking device, which is adjustable between a release configuration which enables a relative rotation of the threaded ring with respect to the chuck body, and a locking configuration which obstructs or prevents this relative rotation. The locking device is formed from a locking sleeve, which is essentially rotationally fixed but axially displaceable with respect to the chuck body, which locking sleeve comprises at least one locking member.

A drilling device, which is adjustable at least between a clamping configuration, a drilling configuration and a screwing configuration, includes a machine housing and a machine spindle, which is drivable with the aid of a motor. A drill chuck having a jaw holder, in which clamping jaws are guided, which are adjustable with the aid of a threaded connection provided between an entrainer and a threaded sleeve is provided. A drill spindle, which is drivable by the motor via a planetary gear set, is disposed on the side facing the machine spindle and includes a sun wheel, a planet carrier, which carries at least one planet wheel, and a ring wheel, which has at least one cam, which interacts with at least one clutch element, which is fixed with respect to the ring gear in the drilling configuration. The at least one clutch element is supported with respect to the ring wheel, movable against a clamping spring force of a clamping spring, and the at least one clutch element is movably supported against a screw spring force, in the screwing configuration, the screw spring force resulting from a series connection of the clamping spring and a screw spring.

Drilling device and friction clutch for a drilling device

A drill chuck having a chuck body, having a clamping sleeve with a conical basic shape that can rotate about the chuck axis of the chuck body, by the rotation of which clamping sleeve a plurality of clamping jaws can be moved relative to the clamping body. The clamping sleeve is made in two parts, having a conical, metallic outer sleeve, having a conical, inner sleeve made of plastic, wherein the outer sleeve has a cylindrical subsection on its inner circumference for radial centering of the outer sleeve on the inner sleeve. A clamping sleeve and a method for producing knurling on the clamping sleeve are also provided.

Drill chuck

A drill chuck having a chuck body, on which a threaded ring is guided, which is in engagement with rows of teeth assigned to clamping jaws for the purpose of adjusting the clamping jaws having a thread and guided in the chuck body, as well as comprising a clamping sleeve which surrounds the chuck body and may be coupled with the threaded ring in a torque-transmitting manner and which may be coupled with the chuck body by a locking device. The locking device is formed by a locking sleeve, which has a lock toothing and is rotatably fixedly connected to the threaded ring and which is axially movable between a drilling configuration and a clamping configuration relative to the threaded ring and the clamping sleeve; the locking device is also formed by a mating toothing assigned to the chuck body.

A drill chuck having a chuck body connectable to a drilling spindle, in which are arranged clamping jaws in guide seats extending at an angle to the chuck axis, which are movable for opening and closing via a threaded ring that is arranged to be immovable relative to the chuck body. A locking device includes a coaxial ring of locking recesses as well as a locking element that is engaged in the locking recesses under the force of a locking spring. An adjusting ring rotatable to a limited extent between stops, the rotation of which adjusts the locking element. A detent device creating two detent positions in the circumferential direction. Attached to the axially forward section of the chuck body in a rotationally fixed and axially immovable manner is a locking sleeve that carries the ring of locking recesses and serves to axially secure the threaded ring.

A precision clamping system having a collet having a tool receptacle and which includes a chuck body formed from a single part, on whose first end a connecting piece is formed, which is directly connectable to a machine spindle of a drilling machine, and on whose second end facing away from the first end a collet receptacle is formed for receiving the collet. The connecting piece is designed in such a way that a form-fitting connection to the machine spindle is established for positive rotary entrainment of the chuck body, the collet receptacle has a conical design, and the collet is assigned a collet thread which may be screwed to a thread formed on the second end of the chuck body. A combination of a drilling machine having a precision clamping system and a system including a precision clamping system having multiple collets is also provided.

Precision clamping system

A drill chuck has a chuck body having a plurality of angularly spaced and axially extending but angled guide grooves each holding a jaw that is axially displaceable between an axially front closed position and an axially rear open position. Each jaw has an outer edge formed with external teeth, and also has an axially rearwardly directed rear face extending at an acute angle to a plane perpendicular to the axis. A ring rotatable on the body about the axis has an internal screwthread meshing with the teeth, and an adjustment sleeve rotationally coupled to the ring is rotatable to move the jaws between the open and closed positions. A cover disk on the rear end of the body is formed with respective throughgoing chip-discharge holes each having an inner end aligned with a respective one of the grooves and an outwardly open outer end.

A drill chuck having a chuck body, which is produced from plastic, in particular from fiber-reinforced plastic, and has a spindle holder and a tool holder and in which clamping jaws that can be adjusted by a threaded ring are guided. The chuck body has a securing ring on an outer circumference in a region of the tool holder.

A drill chuck having a chuck body that has a receptacle on its axially rearward end, having clamping jaws that can be moved relative to the chuck axis, and having a clamping sleeve that serves to move the clamping jaws. An adapter body can be placed in the receptacle and coupled in a torque-transmitting manner, which adapter body has an adapter receptacle for detachable connection to the drilling spindle of a power drill and has, in the wall of the adapter receptacle, at least one detent element that can be moved by a release sleeve.

A drilling apparatus has a housing, a motor in the housing, a drive spindle rotatable about an axis on the housing, a chuck body, and a plurality of jaws shiftable in the chuck body. First and second elements interconnected by a screw thread and engaged between the body and the jaws for shifting the jaws on the housing. A drive sleeve rotationally fixed to the first element is drivable by the motor.

Power drill

A power drill has a housing holding a motor and a drive member rotatable about an axis. An arbor extending along the axis outside the housing is rotationally coupled by complementary formations with the drive member. A tube shaft on which is fixed a chuck body holding a plurality of axially displaceable jaws. A sleeve in the tube shaft is rotationally coupled to the arbor. A pusher element braced axially forward against the jaws extends axially rearward into the sleeve, and interengaging screwthreads on the sleeve and pusher element axially displace the pusher element and the jaws on relative rotation of the sleeve and pusher element. A setting sleeve rotationally coupled to the rear end of the tube shaft is axially displaceable between a tightening position engaging a slip coupling on the housing and a drilling position disengaged from the slip coupling and rotationally coupled to the arbor.

A drill chuck and a drill apparatus is provided that includes a drilling machine, which has a motor and a machine spindle that is supported in rotary fashion in a machine housing. The a drill chuck is connected to the machine spindle and can be moved between a clamping configuration and a drilling configuration and has a clamping sleeve and a chuck body in which clamping jaws are movably guided by a threaded connection. When a sliding sleeve is moved relative to the chuck body between a first position that corresponds to the clamping configuration and a second position that corresponds to the drilling configuration, a flow of force traveling from the motor via the machine spindle to the threaded connection is shifted to a flow of force traveling from the motor via the machine spindle to the chuck body and vice versa.

Drill apparatus and drill chuck

A power drill has a housing holding a planetary gear transmission and a motor. A drive stem rotatable in the housing about the axis is rotationally coupled to the planet carrier, and a chuck body is rotatable on the housing. A driver axially bearing on the jaws is axially shiftable to position jaws in the chuck, and a sleeve threaded to the driver is rotatable to position the jaws in the chuck body. The drive stem can be coupled either to the chuck body for rotating a tool held by the jaws in a screw or drill mode or to the sleeve in a tighten/loosen mode for tool exchange. A first spring bears axially inward against a front face of the transmission ring gear with an adjustable axially inwardly directed force, and a second spring bears axially against a rear face of the ring gear.

Power drill with adjustable torque

A drill-chuck body is rotatable about an axis and formed with a plurality of passages opening axially rearward at a rear face of the body and radially outwardly at windows in a side of the body. Jaws displaceable between front and rear positions in the passages each have a row of teeth exposed radially outwardly at the respective windows. A tightening ring rotatable about the axis is formed with an internal screwthread engaged at the windows with the teeth such that rotation of the ring moves the jaws between the front and rear positions. A tightening sleeve fitted around and coupled rotationally to the tightening ring extends axially rearward past the windows. This brace ring is radially inwardly engaged with the body and engages radially outwardly between the windows and the rear face with the tightening sleeve so as to coaxially center it on the body.
