A pin clamp assembly has a housing, an actuating device and a movable locating pin. A clamping device is coupled with the actuating device to move within the locator pin. The clamping device includes a rod and a finger. The finger extends and retracts in and out of the locating pin to enable the locating pin and clamping device to be moved so that the clamping finger clamps a workpiece.

Pin clamp

A clamping device has a top part () provided with an adjusting mechanism for a clamping arm that can be pivoted into a clamping position and an opening position on the top part (). A housing () carries the top part (). The housing has an inner region to receive a linearly mobile adjusting rod that is connected, at one end, to the adjusting mechanism () and to a drive, at the other end, arranged in the housing (). The housing () has an extruded hollow profiled element (). The inner region of the extruded element () has a uniform inner cross-section over its entire length.

Clamping device

The invention is concerned with a toggle clamp construction comprising an actuator cylinder including a linearly guided piston rod. The piston rod engages a header of the construction arranged on one end or the actuator cylinder where it is connected, via an adjusting mechanism, to a clamp arm pivotally located on the header. The header is provided with at least one engaging hole; an extension is disposed an the piston rod. For selectively fixing the opening angle which is to be taken by the clamp arm after opening the clamp mechanism, a support element for a stop is detachably inserted in the engaging hole. The said stop protrudes into the path of adjustment of the extension of the piston rod, thereby determining the opening angle.

Toggle clamp construction

The invention is related to a supporting structure, especially for attachment to a robot arm and for securing tools, such as clamping, gripping and suction devices or other equipment such as valves, sensors and the like. The supporting structure is formed of not less than two shaped bars and of at least one clamping member. The clamping member conforms to the profile of the bars and is formed of at least two parts, and the shaped bars are provided with at last one undercut groove, with an adjusting strip being arranged within the said groove and being displaceable and firmly clamped therein. Provided both within the clamping member and within the adjusting strip, for insertion of an adjusting pin, are adjusting ports adapted to be placed in registry by a relative displacement of the adjusting strip and the clamping member, with the said adjusting ports being of identical diameters.

Supporting structure

The invention pertains to a clamping chuck consisting of a fork-like clamp jaw holder (1) to which an adjusting element (2) moving back and forth in the longitudinal extension of the clamp jaw holder (1) is provided for the relative movement of the clamp jaw supports (3, 4) with respect to each other in the clamped and open setting. According to the invention, in each leg (5) of the clamp jaw holder (1) one bearing hole (6) and four additional holes (7, 7') are mutually aligned laterally, with their centers (Z) positioned on the corners (E) of the square (Q). The two bearing holes (6) are arranged centrally on the respective connecting line (L) of the two holes (7') on the clamp jaw side and the two clamp jaw supports (3, 4) provided on the clamp jaw holder (1) have a drilled hole (6') aligned with the bearing hole (6). In this case the moving or pivoting clamp jaw support (3) has features (8) for a frictional and/or form-fit actuated connection with the adjusting element (2). In this case the clamp jaw support can be oriented in different directions on the clamp jaw holder (1), without having to change it, and also differently configured clamp jaw supports can be provided on the clamp jaw holder (1).

Clamping chuck

A clamping device, more particularly a toggle lever clamping device is devised for clamping workpieces and comprises an actuator cylinder (3) with a mounting head (23), said mounting head protruding from the piston rod and being provided with the control mechanism for the clamping arm (24) which is linked to said mounting head and, furthermore, two pressure medium supply lines and sensors for the final position with connecting lines. A positioning rod (5), provided with positioning elements (4), is arranged on the free end (1) of, and parallel to, the piston rod (2) and directed toward the actuator cylinder (3). The positioning path (W) of the positioning elements (4) extends within the region of the actuator cylinder (3). At least two sensors (6, 6') for the end position are located in the region of the positioning path (W). Both pressure medium inlet terminals (7, 8) are mounted on the free end (9) of the actuator cylinder (3) and the outlet lines (10) of the sensors (6) are also mounted in axial direction to the longitudinal axis (11) of the actuator cylinder (3) and on the free end (9) of the said cylinder (3).
