An example apparatus includes training circuitry to generate a calibration model based on a correlation of reference data and spectra, the reference data based on physical samples collected by one or more vehicles, the spectra associated with the physical samples, and distribution circuitry to provide, via a network communication, the calibration model to the one or more vehicles.

Material evaluating arrangement for an agricultural work machine

Systems and apparatus are disclosed to detect constituents using a sensor arrangement. A sensor apparatus for detecting constituents of a material includes a first sensor, which interacts with the material, and is configured to measure an optical spectrum of the material. Further, the first sensor is coupled to an evaluation device that is configured to output an output value relating to the level of the one or more constituents in the material with the aid of the measured spectrum and calibration data. The sensor apparatus further includes a second sensor configured to analyse the material examined by the first sensor and to output a signal relating to the level of the one or more constituents in the material. The sensor apparatus further includes a calibration data generating device configured to generate the calibration data for the evaluation device with the aid of the signal of the second sensor.

Sensor arrangement for detecting constituents

An apparatus for examination of a free-flowing sample, comprising: a measuring chamber for receiving the sample, the measuring chamber having at least a portion which is transmissive to light of a spectral range; a casing configured to at least partially enclose the measuring chamber, the casing having at least of portion of its inner surface with a reflectivity in the spectral range; a light source for applying light of the spectral range to the measuring chamber; and a sensor for detecting light of the light source reflected by the sample.

In one embodiment, an agricultural sampling apparatus is provided. The apparatus comprising: a wave emitter; a wave transmitter configured to direct the waves from the wave emitter as a plurality of linewise waves to irradiate surface points of the agricultural sample; a dispersive element configured to receive waves arriving from the sample and deflect the arriving waves in at least two directions depending upon the wavelength of an arriving wave; and a detector configured with a plurality of detection elements disposed in at least two dimensions, the detector configured to convert the waves arriving from the dispersive element to a signal.
