A vehicle is provided with a temperature-control system for controlling the temperature of an interior of the vehicle. The system has a temperature-control medium, preferably a liquid temperature-control medium, guided in a temperature-control circuit. The temperature-control system is operatively connectable or operatively connected to a source temperature-control system such that the temperature-control medium guided in the temperature-control circuit of the temperature-control system may be thermally influenced by the source temperature-control system. The temperature-control circuit also is operatively connectable or operatively connected to at least one interior temperature-control system such that the temperature of the interior of the vehicle may be modified by the temperature-control medium in the temperature-control circuit.

Thermal conditioning of a combustion engine of a vehicle is achieved by means of a fluid circuit or a sub-circuit of the fluid circuit and/or the air flowing into a passenger compartment of the vehicle by means of a heat pump circuit. In at least one operational state of the vehicle, heat is transferred from the fluid circuit or the sub-circuit of the fluid circuit to the heat pump circuit.

A radiant heating device for producing radiant heat in a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle includes a heating surface for emitting heat radiation, a heating element for providing heating power, a first temperature sensor for detecting a first temperature in a specific spot and for providing a corresponding first temperature indication, and a second temperature sensor for detecting a second temperature on the surface and for providing a corresponding second temperature indication. In order to detect a local over-heating of the heating surface, a difference between the two temperature indications is determined. In the event of a defect, a protective operating mode is then selected.

Electrical heating device for motor vehicles

A vehicle seat is provided with a temperature-control system which is connectable or connected to a temperature-control circuit that conveys a temperature-control medium. Thermal energy from the temperature-control medium conveyed in or to at least one temperature-control heat exchanger of the temperature-control system is deliverable to and/or absorbable from the surroundings. The vehicle seat has at least one flow generation system, in particular a fan system, which generates a gas flow. A heat pump system for climate control of an electric or hybrid vehicle includes an air conditioning unit having a heating heat exchanger, and an air conditioning unit evaporator having a refrigeration circuit, in which the air conditioning unit evaporator and a condenser are arranged. The refrigeration circuit includes a low temperature (LT) circuit in which at least one electrical power component is arranged. The heat pump system is configured to switch over between a cooling mode and a heating mode. The condenser, which is configured to transfer heat into the LT circuit, and an LT cooler are incorporated into the LT circuit. In the heating mode, the condenser outputs heat into the LT circuit and from there into a heating circuit, in which the heating heat exchanger is arranged, and in the cooling mode, the condenser outputs heat via the LT circuit to the LT cooler.

Temperature control of an interior of a motor vehicle having an electrical drive is carried out by a heat pump arrangement having a heating temperature region and a low temperature region, wherein the heating temperature region includes at least one interior heat exchanger thermally coupled to the interior and the low temperature region includes at least one of an exterior heat exchanger and a heat exchanger disposed on a component of the electrical drive. When the interior of the motor vehicle is be temperature-controlled, heat energy from the heating temperature region of the heat pump arrangement is delivered to the interior of the vehicle, and the operating point of the electrical drive is altered such that the generation of thermal losses is controlled in at least one electrical component of the electrical drive, such that the temperature of the low temperature region in the stationary or quasi-stationary operation is controlled at a level so as to ensure that the heat pump arrangement can provide the heating energy.

Method and air conditioning unit for air conditioning an interior of an electrically driven vehicle

A method of heating the interior of a vehicle is provided. The vehicle has a central heating system and several decentralized heating surfaces constructed as infrared radiators. The temperature of the vehicle interior is controllable by the central heating system and/or the decentralized heating surfaces corresponding to a heating demand of at least one vehicle occupant. For controlling the temperature of the vehicle interior corresponding to a heating demand, a power distribution takes place between the central heating system and the decentralized heating surfaces as a function of specified distribution demands.

Method of heating the interior of a vehicle

The invention relates to a method and a system for preconditioning a heating and/or cooling unit in a motor vehicle while the motor vehicle is at a standstill. The heating and/or cooling unit draws energy to heat and/or cool the vehicle interior from an electrical store. While the vehicle is at a standstill, the heating and/or cooling unit is activated in a first power stage in response to a signal of a remote starting device, and is then switched from the first power stage to a second power stage based on specified conditions. The first power stage may be designed such that the heating and/or cooling circuit is internally preconditioned to reach a specified target temperature by appropriately controlling the heating and/or cooling unit with the ventilation flaps at least nearly closed.

Method and system for preconditioning a heating and/or cooling unit in a motor vehicle

A vehicle has an electric heating device which in operation reaches a temperature of more than 50&#xb0; C., and includes a flat perforated decorative layer which is disposed on a front face of the heating device. Because of the perforation of the decorative layer, the heating device can radiate infrared radiation through holes provided in the decorative layer directly into a passenger compartment of the vehicle. The vehicle also has a reflector layer which is disposed on a rear face of the heating device facing away from the front face and is provided in order to reflect infrared radiation emitted by the heating device in the direction of the passenger compartment.

Vehicle having an electric heating device

A vehicle is provided with a heating device. The heating device includes an electrically driven heat source and a reflector configured to reflect heat radiation emitted by the heat source in the direction of a passenger compartment of the vehicle. The vehicle further includes a contact protection device which is permeable to radiation so that heat radiation reflected by the reflector or emitted by the heat source radiates into the passenger compartment. The heat source and the reflector are arranged on one side of the contact protection device, and the side is averted from the passenger compartment.

Vehicle with a heating device

A method of operating a refrigerant circuit as a heat pump is provided. By way of a compressor, refrigerant is compressed and is pumped through a refrigerant/heating heat exchanger. The refrigerant coming from the refrigerant/heating heat exchanger is expanded in at least a first expansion element. The refrigerant expanded by way of the first expansion element flows to a suction input of the compressor through at least one evaporator. At a branch-off point of the refrigerant/heating heat exchanger situated between a refrigerant input and a refrigerant output of the refrigerant/heating heat exchanger, refrigerant is branched off and is guided by way of a second expansion element in the direction of the suction input of the refrigerant compressor.

Method for operating a refrigerant circuit as a heat pump and heat pump operable as a refrigerant circuit

A method and a correspondingly designed motor vehicle are provided for pre-climatizing the motor vehicle when shut-off by way of a heating and/or cooling unit, which draws its energy for heating and/or cooling from an electric storage unit. When the heating and/or cooling unit is activated by a vehicle external operator control element, the heating and/or cooling unit is initially activated in a first output stage. Then, the heating and/or cooling unit is switched from the first output stage to a second output stage as a function of predetermined conditions.
