A method for disinfecting a bottle, in particular a baby bottle, including a bottle jacket which is open on both ends, wherein, in a dispensing position, a bottom cap is fastened to a bottom-side opening and a teat is fastened to a teat-side opening by a fastening ring, the inner periphery of the bottom-side opening being larger than the outer periphery of the fastening ring, wherein, for transfer into a disinfection position, the bottom cap is removed from the bottle jacket, the teat and the fastening ring are placed onto the bottom cap and introduced into the bottle jacket, the bottom cap is attached to the bottom-side opening, a disinfectant is filled into the bottle jacket before the bottle is heated for disinfection.

A pacifier with a shield and a teat element. The teat element includes a shaft adjacent to the shield and solid in cross-section in the region of contact with the jaw and/or the teeth. A teat member adjoins the shaft in its end section which faces away from the shield so that the contour of the teat element, starting from the shaft, has a club-shape which corresponds substantially to known hollow-body teats. A convex hollow teat body is provided as a teat member which is substantially annular. The longitudinal axis of the annular teat body runs substantially perpendicularly to the longitudinally extending axis of the teat element or the hollow teat body is designed to be substantially closed-walled so as to form a cavity.

A bottle, in particular a baby's bottle, having a bottle jacket that is open at both ends. A base cap that is equipped with an air intake valve is fixed in one base end region of the bottle jacket and a teat is fixed in the opposite teat end region. The teat has a shaft and a nipple connected to the shaft by a lip contact region. The bottle jacket has an essentially conical form that widens from the teat end region to the base end region and the wall thickness of the shaft of the teat is greater than the wall thickness of the teat in the lip contact region and of the nipple. The bottle jacket is injection-molded from a polyolefin, in particular polypropylene.

An air valve for the cap of a liquid container comprising an annular membrane. The cap has at least one air passage opening. A holding element having an encircling groove that is open toward the inside of the cap is fixed to the inside of the cap. This holding element has at least one air inlet opening connected to the air passage opening of the cap and which leads into the groove. A ring can be placed or is placed inside the groove. Also provided is a mouthpiece for drinking from a liquid container, which is made, in essence, of elastic material and placed on a cap provided with the inventive air valve.
