The disclosure relates to a retaining device for an anemometer, designed for use on a fan housing of a fan, wherein the retaining device is designed as a flow conditioner having a plurality of axial flow channels divided into a honeycomb structure by an arrangement of bars, and wherein the retaining device has retaining means, by means of which the anemometer can be fastened to the retaining device such that the former axially adjoins the flow channels.

A diagonal fan has an electric motor, housing, and diagonal impeller, which is accommodated within the housing, can be driven via the electric motor, and generates a diagonal flow during operation that is deflected in an axial flow direction by an inner wall of the housing. Outlet guide vane device with a plurality of guide vanes distributed in the circumferential direction is arranged adjacently to the diagonal impeller when viewed in the axial flow direction, and homogenizes airflow generated by the diagonal impeller. Guide vanes have a radial extension from a hub region of the outlet guide vane device to the housing. An imaginary extension in the outflow angle of the diagonal impeller strikes the inner wall of the housing at an axial distance K from the diagonal impeller. Outlet guide vane device is arranged at axial distance H to diagonal impeller where 0.75≤K/H≤1.25.

A radial fan has a housing with a motor-drivable fan wheel. The fan wheel generates an air volume flow during operation. The housing has a blow-out portion () with an impeller (). A fan includes a fan housing and a motor accommodated therein. The motor has a stator and a rotor, which is connected to a fan wheel. The fan housing consists of at least a housing upper part and a housing lower part. The housing upper part has an axial opening on the axial inner face of which facing the housing lower part the stator is arranged. On the axial outer face of the axial opening at least electronics are arranged.

A suction nozzle is provided for a fan with a suction opening for suctioning a fan main flow. The suction nozzle has an opening edge section adjoining the suction opening and having a local outbreak. A flow insert is detachably provided in the local outbreak of the opening edge section. The flow insert forms a bypass leading to the suction opening for a bypass flow leading to the fan main flow. Measuring means are provided in the bypass for the volume flow determination of the fan main flow. A confusor is provided in the bypass. The confusor is formed by a first web and a second web. The first web and the second web circumferentially face one another to form a nozzle channel in the bypass. The nozzle channel has a radially narrowest section. The measuring means are arranged in the radially narrowest section.

A fan, in particular an axial fan, comprising a support element with a wall ring and an electric fan motor which is mounted in the wall ring and comprises a fan rotor. The wall ring has on its outer periphery a hinge consisting of a first hinge part that is connected to the wall ring and a second hinge part that can be pivoted about a hinge axis relative to the first hinge part, wherein the second hinge part is designed as a terminal box for receiving electrical connectors. The invention further relates to a support element for such a fan.
