The present invention relates to a vehicle roof with a roof opening () and with a roof section () having a roof tip () pointing to the front of the vehicle () and a roof end () pointing to the rear of the vehicle (). The roof section () can be moved along guide tracks (), which run on both sides of the roof opening, out of a closed position, which closes the roof opening (), into an open position, which at least partially opens up the roof opening. In order to optimize the vehicle roof to the effect that, in the partially open position and/or during the opening movement while under way, only very low travelling noises, if any at all, are produced and the highest requirements with regard to the sealing in the closed position are met, the opening movement from the closed position of the roof section begins with a movement of the roof end () into a lowered position below the roof opening ().

Vehicle roof

A cabriolet vehicle with a combined convertible top-luggage stowage space (), of which one partial volume constitutes a the convertible top stowage volume () and another partial volume constitutes a luggage stowage volume which borders the convertible top stowage volume (), has a checking device () for checking the convertible top stowage volume (). The checking device has a movement element () that can be moved along a boundary () which separates the convertible top stowage volume () from the luggage stowage volume and which can be remotely controlled. The movement element is driven by a drive device () and is provided with sensors () such that, during the motion of the movement element () preparatory to stowage of a hard top convertible roof, the presence of articles which project from the luggage stowage volume into the convertible top stowage volume () can be detected.

A motor vehicle roof is provided which includes a cover which can be moved into a raised position at its rear edge by a carriage which can be moved along guide rails in interaction with a cover carrier connected to the cover via a crank arrangement. The crank arrangement has at least one crank path and at least one sliding element which fits into the crank arrangement. For simple and reliable support of the cover in all phases, the crank arrangement preferably includes at least two crank paths and two sliding elements, wherein the crank paths are shaped and arranged such that when the carriage moves, a first sliding element assumes support of the cover in the direction of the height of the vehicle roof (Z-direction), while a second sliding element applies support in the lengthwise direction of the vehicle (X-direction). As the carriage continues to be displaced, a reversal of the supporting action of the two sliding elements occurs.

Motor vehicle roof

A motor vehicle roof which can be lowered into a rear receiving space, with a rear roof part ( ) which is pivotally supported on the body and a front roof part ( ) which is pivotally supported thereon. The rear roof part ( ) has a lengthwise dimension which is equal essentially to twice the lengthwise dimension of the rear window ( ). The rear window can be moved out of a position which closes a rear window cutout to under the closed front section of the rear roof part.

Vehicle roof with at least one cover

The invention relates to a motor vehicle roof with cover elements which are joined on each of their narrow sides to a pivotable attachment element which is guided along a guideway attached to the roof. Adjacent attachment elements are coupled for joint movement in the opening and closing direction so long as neither is in a fully swung-out position, and are decoupled, one by one as each of the adjacent attachment elements reaches its fully swung-out position. In the decoupled state, the adjacent attachment elements can be moved against one another as they are fully swung-out. An attachment element in the fully swung-out position is locked securely on the roof under the influence of the opening motion of an adjacent attachment element by a respective pivotable locking element, and is automatically released under the influence of the closing motion of the other adjacent attachment elements.

A motor vehicle roof with a cover (3) which can be activated by means of cover mechanism (6) and which selectively closes an opening (2) in a fixed roof surface (1) or at least partially exposes the opening (2) by being raised at its rear edge, achieves increased safety against the cover being forced out to the top and enables the vehicle roof to be configured so as to eliminate height adjustment, by the cover (3) resting in the closed state with both its front edge (4) and its rear edge (5) underlying the fixed roof surface (1). Advantageously, a pretensioning force is exerted by the cover (3) on the fixed roof (1), so that one of these two parts impresses its outline on the other.

A convertible vehicle roof with a rigid rear roof part (7) and with a rigid rear part (8) which adjoins rear roof part (7), can be moved together with other roof parts (side roof parts 5, cover 6) into a stowage space (19) located in the rear of a vehicle. Compared to known hardtop vehicle roofs, the structure, mounting, sealing and insensitivity to tolerances are improved by the fact that the rear part (8) can be swung forwardly over the rear roof part (7) before they are moved together into the stowage space.

Convertible motor vehicle roof

Vehicle roof with a series of plates for selectively closing and at least partially opening a roof opening in a fixed roof surface. The plates abut one another in the closed position and form a flat interlocking system of plates within which each plate is guided on each side on two guide points, that are spaced from each other in a sliding direction, along a guiding device that is connected with the fixed roof surface so that, when the plates are displaced, the flat interlocking system of plates performs a translatory movement during which the interlocking system is separated in a plate-by-plate manner when the roof is opened and is reestablished when the roof is closed. At least the forward guide points of the plates interact with the same guideway, and both guide points of the plates are maintained in engagement with the guiding devices over their entire path of displacement. The guiding devices are constructed and arranged with respect to the fixed roof surface so that the plates, when the roof is opened, dip under the fixed roof part at a rear end of the roof opening.

Vehicle roof with at least one cover part, which is adjustable between a closed position, in which the cover closes a roof opening and is at least approximately flush with the contour of the stationary roof panel, and an open position, in which the cover is brought into a position rising obliquely toward the rear by swinging around an axis of rotation lying near its front edge and is moved rearwardly with reference to the closed position over a rear portion of the stationary roof panel. The cover pan moved toward the rear from the closed position is guided on a roof rail in the area of its rear end.

A vehicle roof for closing an aperture in a fixed roof surface comprising a series of strip-like plates. In closing the roof, the plates lie edge to edge to form a flat sheet. The plates are mounted on guide tracks in a roof frame fixed beneath the roof surface around the aperture. Each plate is carried on the guide tracks at two locations, and the plates can be moved rearwards and tilted. In the roof open position, the plates are pivoted upward and lie substantially parallel to one another. The pivoting takes place towards the rear of the aperture as each plate is completing its rearward movement. The plates remain engaged with both guide track locations at all times and this ensures the stability of the assembly. In each case, a drip molding is hinged at least on a part of the plates. The drip moldings are guided to slide along lengthwise guideways, and they take part only in the sliding movements of the respective plates, not their pivoting. The drip moldings lie under a lengthwise edge of the plates that extends crosswise to the direction of displacement in each position of the respective plate, and with pivoting of the plate remains below the lower of the lengthwise edges of the respective plate.

Ventilation roof for vehicles with a roof opening made in a roof skin, a roof opening that can be closed by a cover that is connected to an adjustment mechanism having front and rear height adjustment devices. The cover can be swung by the front height adjustment devices, starting from a closed position, around a pivot axis, lying near its rear edge, into a ventilation position in which the cover front edge lies below the height of roof skin, while the cover rear edge is kept at approximately the height of the roof skin. The rear of the cover can be lowered below the roof skin by the rear height adjustment devices, and the lowered cover can be slid rearward underneath the roof skin into an open position. The front height adjustment devices each have a positively adjustable pivoted lever that is rotatable about an axis that is fixed relative to the roof and with which the cover is detachably coupled only when it is shifted fully forward.

A vehicle roof with a roof opening made in the stationary roof panel is described, wherein the roof opening can alternately be closed or at least partially opened by an adjustable covering that moves in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle combined with a wind deflector that includes a wind deflector plate mounted to pivot between a pushed-out position and a rest position around a transverse pivoting axis, which can be adjusted along a guide mechanism in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The wind deflector when pivoted into the rest positions can be pushed into a receiving space located below the stationary roof panel in front of the front edge of the roof opening. A catch mechanism is provided for automatic slaving the transverse pivot axis of the wind deflector plate for movement in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle with a part connected to the cover during at least a part of the adjustment movement of the covering that occurs in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.

Apparatus for guiding and holding printed circuit boards. For length and thickness compensation of printed circuit boards subject to length and thickness variations, the apparatus for guiding and holding printed circuit boards is essentially composed of a U-shaped rail having legs proceeding parallel to one another. The legs are oppositely corrugated along the rail. The legs are thereby fashioned such that the gap formed by them has a respective antinode at the rail ends. The legs are thereby connected only at the leg ends and at least at one of the antinodes lying therebetween, being connected by connecting webs that have retainer elements directed outward in the direction of the legs that may potentially be in an interactive connection with spring tongues.
