The invention relates to the longwall face support of an underground mine having supports (plates-), which longwall face support comprises camera housings () each having two cameras (), which record a monitoring area of the face having a plurality of plates in the longitudinal direction of the gallery and the most complete registration possible of the cross section of the gallery. The cameras in a monitoring area are assigned to a common power supply unit () for the power supply and are equipped with intrinsically safe electronics. The electronics have a radio device for high-frequency data transfer (transmission and reception) together with antenna(W-LAN antenna) for the wire-free connection to the local camera network (Wireless Local Area Network). Each camera and each camera housing is assigned a camera code and an address code, which is added to the identification data. Each radio device is configured such that data marked with an extrinsic camera code and data and signals marked with an extrinsic address code is emitted to be transmitted following reception.

Longwall face support in an underground mine

A hydraulic circuit for longwall support for use in underground mining for supporting a longwall by means of a plurality of support shields incorporates a pressure monitoring device in the pressure line between the load maintaining valve and the shield control valve. The pressure monitoring device can be a device for monitoring the piston position of the shield control valve which device signals a deviation of the set position predetermined by the shield control device from the measured actual position of the piston of the shield control valve in the form of a deviation signal. It may also be a pressure sensor which signals the deviation of the set pressure predetermined by the shield control device from the measured actual pressure in the form of a deviation signal. Signaling can be acoustic or optical.

Hydraulic circuit for longwall mining

A hydraulic circuit for longwall support for use in underground mining for supporting a longwall by means of a plurality of support shields includes in the annular piston line of each cylinder/piston unit a pressure sensor. The pressure sensor, upon reaching a predetermined maximum pressure activates a pressure deviation signal, causes the entire longwall to be depressurized by means of a longwall shut-off valve. The pressure deviation signal is blocked for one of the hydraulic valves against each triggering signal.

The shield control device of a longwall shield for carrying out the longwall functions of the longwall shield in the longwall face working in a mine is associated with a distributing device upstream of a group of functional elements. Each of the functional elements of the longwall shield is associated with an exclusive address code word, on the call of which the internal connection between the shield control device and the functional elements depends. The distributing device is arranged in close proximity to the functional elements. The functional elements are valves or sensors.

A plug contact pairing comprises a plug pot with contact pins, as well as a plug head with contact circuits for connection of electrical line ends. A profiled ring (securing ring) is used to mount the plug head in an interlocking manner in the plug pot, is incorporated with a part of its cross section in a circumferential groove in the plug head and, during closure of the plug contact pairing, latches with the rest of its cross section into a groove on the internal circumference of the plug pot. By virtue of the shape and material of the securing ring and the slot shape, the plug head can be pulled out of the plug pot only with a tensile force which is greater than the limit value. In one development, the plug head is mounted with an identical connection in the plug housing, in which case the mounting ring connection is designed in comparison to the securing ring connection such that the tensile force with which the plug head can be pulled out of the plug pot is less than that by means of which the plug head is held in the plug housing by the mounting ring connection.

A longwall support control for controlling the movements of the longwall support units and the advance heading in the longwall of a mine comprises a plurality of control units, of which a separate mining shield control device is locally and operationally associated to each longwall support unit. Each mining shield control device comprises a multi-channel radio transceiver, such that the mining shield control device is in a simultaneous transmit and receive mode with a decentralized operating device for receiving control signals and for transmitting inspection data. The mining shield control devices may be interconnected and each mining shield control device may include an amplifier.
