A method for producing an annular active part of an electric machine, where the active part has ring segment-shaped sections with grooves for receiving electric conductors, an electric machine with the ring segment-shaped section, a mill with the electric machine, and a service method for such an electric machine or such a mill, and where the goal is to assembly the electric machine inexpensively.

Composite electric machine

A tube mill has a body arranged for rotation about an axis of rotation. Material to be ground can be introduced into the body for comminution. The tube mill has an electric motor for rotationally driving the body. The electric motor has a rotor arranged around the body and connected to the body for rotation therewith and has a stator arranged stationarily around the rotor. The tube mill has a concrete element running around at least half the circumference of the stator yoke which is connected to the concrete element in such a way that forces acting on the stator yoke are transferred to the concrete element.

In case there is a malfunction of the magnetic bearing in an electrical machine, in which such magnetic bearings drive a rotary shaft in a stator (), a safety bearing (') is provided. According to the present invention, the safety bearing (&#x2032;) exhibits an outer ring (&#x2032;) that is mounted on the stator (), inside of which a revolving ring () is operated. The safety bearing according to the present invention is particularly suited for machines that have a particularly large and heavy shaft.
