Synchronization of precision timing signals maintained by multiple communication networks is described. A precision timing signal may be generated based on the change in state of a plurality of processors. Synchronization of the precision timing signals may be facilitated by a computing device monitoring at least two communication networks. The computing device may generate time offsets that are derived from the precision timing signals associated with each communication network. The time offsets may be communicated by the computing devices to remote devices communicatively coupled to the computing device via a first communication network.

Precision digital chronography based on detected changes in state of a processor is described. The changes in state may be detected by another processor and an averaged time interval generated. A signal corresponding to the averaged time interval may be communicated to a distributed database and propagated to remote systems. Devices associated with the remote systems may adjust or set a device clock in accordance with the averaged time interval.

The remote devices may adjust locally maintained application clocks based on the time offset. The adjustment may synchronize the local application clock with the precision timing signal of a second communication network. In response, a remote device may communicatively couple with the second communication network.

A mobile communication device for receiving an ad hoc temporary upgrade in quality of service (QoS). The mobile communication device comprises a processor, at least one cellular radio transceiver, a non-transitory memory, and an ad hoc service upgrade application. When executed by the processor, the application monitors wireless cellular communication on a network via the at least one cellular radio transceiver, detects a significant delay in the communication, generates a prompt on a GUI, the prompt comprising a plurality of options for an ad hoc temporary upgraded QoS, where each option is associated with a time period. The application further, based on a user input, requests a preferred roaming list (PRL) associated with the temporary upgraded QoS, receives the PRL, wherein the PRL is associated with providing the upgraded QoS on an allocated spectrum, activates the received PRL, and upon expiration of the time period, deactivates the received PRL.

A communication network service record tracker. The service record tracker comprises a processor, a data store comprising a plurality of service record blockchains, a non-transitory memory, and a service record tracker application stored in the non-transitory memory. When executed by the at least one processor, the application provides a service record tracker network function that receives notices of network events from other network function instances, in response to receiving a notice of a network event from a network function, invokes an API of the network function to request information about the network event, receives information about the network event, builds a block comprising the information about the network event, and adds the block to one of the plurality of service record blockchains in the data store, whereby the service record tracker application establishes and maintains an immutable service record of network communication events accessible by authorized communication network applications.

A method of propagating a radio access network (RAN) affiliation list to mobile communication devices, where the RAN affiliation list informs the mobile communication devices what cell site they are to attach to and what radio frequencies they are to use. The method comprises receiving a RAN affiliation list by a cell site, where the RAN affiliation list has a RAN affiliation list identity and comprises information about cell site affiliation for mobile communication devices that is applicable to an operating area including the cell site, transmitting the RAN affiliation list identity by the cell site on a broadcast channel, receiving by the cell site a request to download the RAN affiliation list, transmitting the RAN affiliation list by the cell site, receiving a wireless communication service request by the cell site, authorizing the wireless communication service request by the cell site based on the RAN affiliation list.
