Disclosed is an actuator for the rotary drive of a vehicle flap. The actuator includes an electric motor, which has a output shaft with a center axis, an output unit, which is in force-transmitting connection with the electric motor in such a manner that activation of the electric motor causes a rotational displacement of the output unit about an axis of rotation of the output unit, and a mounting unit which is configured to support the actuator in force-transmitting connection with a superordinate assembly relative to the drive unit such that, upon activation of the electric motor, a displacement of the drive unit relative to the mounting unit takes place. Also disclosed is a storage apparatus for a vehicle door and a motor vehicle.

Provided is a brake device for braking a rotational movement of a shaft about the longitudinal axis, wherein the shaft is mounted so as to be rotatable about the longitudinal axis in a direction of rotation and in a counter direction which opposes the direction of rotation. Brake devices typically use constant and relatively high braking torques, to ensure a controlled movement of a movement portion, braked by the brake device, in every situation. However, this increases the energy consumption for a movement of the movement portion, and the wear of the brake device. A brake device equipped with a setting device for mutually opposing setting of a braking torque on the shaft during rotation of the shaft in the direction of rotation, and a counter braking torque during rotation of the shaft in the counter direction is provided. Also provided is a method for controlling a brake device.

The invention relates to a spindle drive, comprising a drive unit, a spindle, and a spindle nut in threaded engagement with the spindle, the spindle nut being driven by the drive unit by means of a drive element, and wherein the spindle nut is mounted on the drive element in such a way that the spindle nut and the spindle in threaded engagement with it are pivotable relative to the drive element.

A spindle drive apparatus includes a spindle, a spindle nut, a drive assembly with a drive unit, which is adapted for driving the spindle or the spindle nut, an output shaft of the drive unit and a drive assembly housing, in which the drive assembly is housed, at least one bearing, a coupling element, which prevents a displacement of elements houses therein from each other, wherein the drive assembly housing is free from forces, which are transmitted from one of the superordinate assemblies through the spindle drive apparatus to the other of the superordinate assemblies.

A spindle drive apparatus includes a guide tube having a connection unit for connecting the spindle drive apparatus to a superordinate assembly, the connection unit fastened to the guide tube for rotation relative thereto, an externally threaded spindle housed at least in part in the guide tube, a further connection unit rotationally fixed to the end of the spindle for connecting the spindle drive apparatus to a further superordinate assembly, a spindle nut is fastened to the guide tube in threaded engagement with the spindle, and a drive assembly has a drive unit, wherein a drive element that is driven by the drive unit surrounds the guide tube and is rotationally fixable thereto, and wherein the drive unit is supported on one of the superordinate assemblies or on an element connected thereto.

An adjusting device for a vehicle part which is movable relative to a body of a vehicle, includes a drive arrangement having a drive unit and a movement state sensor, an adjusting element which is displaceable relative to the drive arrangement via the drive unit and a control unit for controlling the drive unit. The control unit is designed to actuate the drive unit according to an actual movement state. The disclosure also relates to a motor vehicle having a body and a vehicle part movable relative to the body, which part is equipped with an adjusting device.

A scissor drive includes two legs which can be pivoted relative to one another about a pivot axis, each having a longitudinal axis and designed to be connected to an external component, and a motor/gear assembly that drives the relative pivoting movement of the two legs. The first leg includes a housing that is hollow at least in portions, a cavity defined in the hollow housing extending at least in portions along the longitudinal axis of the first leg, and the motor/gear assembly being received in the housing of the first leg at least in portions in the portion of the cavity that extends along the longitudinal axis of the first leg.
