A battery housing for a traction battery may include a first housing part and a second housing part fixed removably to each other. Battery modules of the traction battery may be fixable on the first housing part. The housing may also include a reinforcing structure having a plurality of reinforcing ribs reinforcing the first housing part, and a ducted structure with a plurality of coolant ducts for a coolant fixed on the first housing part. The plurality of coolant ducts may each be connectable to a respective temperature-control unit of a battery module in a coolant-conducting fashion. At least one of the coolant ducts may be at least partially embedded in one of the reinforcing ribs.

Battery housing for a traction battery

An accumulator for a hybrid or electric vehicle may include a housing having two shell-shaped housing parts abutting one another in a Z direction and forming an interior of the housing, a plurality of battery modules having a plurality of battery cells arranged in the interior of the housing, and at least one cooling device having a cooling chamber, through which a fluid is flowable, a fluid inlet for introducing the fluid into the cooling chamber, and a fluid outlet for discharging the fluid from the cooling chamber. The cooling chamber may be formed in a respective one of the two housing parts via a heat-conducting limiting plate, which may be spaced apart from a bottom of the respective housing part and may be aligned transversely to the Z direction and may separate the cooling chamber from the interior in a fluid-tight manner inside the respective housing part. At least some of the battery modules may abut on the limiting plate facing away from the cooling chamber so as to transfer heat.

Accumulator

A housing part for a multi-part housing of a battery unit may include a bottom portion and a side wall structure arranged circumferentially on the outside along the bottom portion in the circumferential direction. The side wall structure may form at least one side wall portion along the circumferential direction. The side wall portion may have an inner wall facing the bottom portion and an outer wall, which may be spaced apart from the inner wall and may face away from the bottom portion. The inner wall may be connected to the bottom portion. The inner and outer walls may be connected to one another via a framework-like cavity structure having several webs, which may be adjacent to one another in the circumferential direction and which, in the cavity structure, may form several cavities adjacent in the circumferential direction and connecting the inner wall to the outer wall.

Battery housing part

An accumulator assembly for an electric or hybrid vehicle may include a housing including a housing upper part and a housing lower part releasably fixed to the housing upper part. The housing upper part may be fixable to a floor panel of the vehicle. The assembly may further include at least one battery module disposed in a receptacle space between the housing upper part and the housing lower part. The at least one battery module may be releasably fixed to the housing upper part.
